MAXIMA 0
I'll start off with a little intro of myself. I have been playing poker for just over three months. I have not done to bad at least I am not a losing player. I love the game and find it very addicting. I do play for real money mostly in the micro limits but do play tournaments and a few times I have been to the casino.I am in the sales industry as a trainer, salesperson, and manager. I have spent the last fifteen year training newbe's how to sell cars and perform at there best. In 1992 I was introduced to a system that help to accelerate a persons ablity to succeed at any given task. In this case Poker. All you have to do is use your imagination a little to come up with the right answers that work for you. There are no right or wrong answers only results. The Process of ModelingNote for best results use OTHER PEOPLE EXPERINCES (OPE)Modeling is finding someone that excelles in a field and incorporating their ideas into your life.1) What emotional states should a poker player have at the table?eg. confident, happy ect.2) What type of beliefs should a poker player have?eg. If you cannot find the sucker in the first half hour then you are the sucker. Beliefs ar mostly stated with IF then seprated with THEN as in the example above.3) What types of beliefs must you NOT have?eg I always get sucked out.4) What type of skills are a must?eg. fundamentals, hand reading skills ect. There are more questions to come if you guys are intrested I really am looking forward to what you guys come up with. I will post my own profile of this as soon as I get the time to figure them out myself.Sorry for the spelling I don't have spell check in my head.Maxima.

The guy has played some serious micro limit poker thats pretty valuable. And he's even played a few live games. I mean WOW!!!!! I knew there was a reason i joined this forum. Getting the opportunity to work with such a savy veteran. Forget DN we have Maxima the saviour.

turd ferguson 1
I just stubbed my toe so hard on the shopping cart laying in the yard that my little toe is bigger than the so-called big one...It's just as well. The big toe was getting cocky anyway. He was alwasys bragging and picking on the smaller toes. Hopefully, this new imposter toe will put him in his place. Damn bullies. Fullhouse7 0
I am a behavioral psychologist (i.e., a psycho with no behavior). Here are my thoughts: 1) What emotional states should a poker player have at the table? eg. confident, happy ect. Sober2) What type of beliefs should a poker player have? eg. If you cannot find the sucker in the first half hour then you are the sucker. Beliefs ar mostly stated with IF then seprated with THEN as in the example above. Christian thoughts about others3) What types of beliefs must you NOT have? eg I always get sucked out. Satanic thoughts about your opponents4) What type of skills are a must? eg. fundamentals, hand reading skills ect. Read "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale CarnegieSeriously, you answered yourself and there are too many variables to determine a winning poker player---look at all the characters out there and how dissimilar they all are.Fullhouse7

I'm actually a huge fan of Tony Robbins. One of the major probelems with this piece is that it's too general. Unfortunately, due to your lack of real experience in the poker world, people will not take what you said to heart. Not to say that it's not worth reading..........but there is a lot missing.Let me use car sales as an analogy. With your poker experience, you are the equivalent to a "green pea". You've sold 3-5 cars each month, while most of the other guys have sold 12-20. Giving advice to those people will seem odd, even if you have had success in other fields. Again, I do applaude your effort, and I think that your heart is in the right place.
