But, I'm expecting to do a lot of writing. Looks like I'm set have a little hacienda to stay at too - near the Target off Flamingo.

flintsword 4
I am flying down shortly to play in a few wsop tournaments, then back to work.I really, really enjoyed it when the wsop was in spring. This idea of flying into Vegas in June/July is for the birds, ... if the birds were crazy enough to fly (or should I say 'fry') in the incredible summer heat of Vegas. Still, a little sun, swimming, and way too much poker is my idea of fun.I am also interested in seeing the Wynn casino.

KTW 0
I read somewhere about a possible FCP meetup during WSOP. Anyone have any ideas ? I was thinking of maybe July 4th at the big fireworks show at Desert Breeze Park off Spring Mountain; or even a lunch buffet at 1 of the hotels. No Good ? :wall:
squizie 0
I will be at the world series but not playing I just want to be in the same room as all of the madness that is going on. Everything i have read about this years WSOP is crazy and i can not wait.
Akita Mani Yo 0
I'm playing the main event, with my party poker garb on, my start day is July 7th. GL to all who will be there, and here's to having a great time either way .
AUBrandon 0
Don't know if anyone read my thread about the 30 seat guarantee at full tilt... but I'm in now too! I've never been to vegas, live about 2000 miles away, so this should be a great experience for me. The partypoker cruise was great... but the WSOP.. man. I can't wait. Let's represent FCP to the fullest!
monsterrain 0
won a seat on sunday to the main event. We should have hats made up or something that has FCP on it for all of us to wear who are playin the big one.
sdevilgal 0
I went a couple weeks ago and watched Daniel in the $2000 LHE event. I don't know if I'll be able to go again.

dscoot 0
myself and my brother (non poster) are playing in the main event. we have both been on a rush online last month so this is a great time for us to be playing the big event. we expect good results in this event. my biggest challenge will be the schedule change and physical aspects of the twelve hour sessions.. you'll see me wearing a "mike says no" shirtoh and ill be drinking nice beers and possibly some nice champaigne out there if ya see me i got ya one
pdparv19 0
Well I finally found out I am going to the Main Event, representing Bluff Magazine. I am absolutely thirlled to have this chance....Anyway, if there is a FCP meetup I would love to catch a beer with you all!! I know i have barely posted...but I feel like I lurked enough to know all the posters...
KTW 0
A few people have suggested a "meetup"; myself included, but it has not been met with enthusiasm. It could be because some seem it would be just too difficult to get everyone together; due to all considerations. I am leaving Friday afternoon for 2 weeks and can't wait. I have been going to LV on a regular basis for years but I still get excited. 8)edit: I guess I will miss it if people meet after the Main Event. Oh well.
elkang 0
I think for interested parties, the meetup should take place after the Main Event. Saturday or Sunday. Or even during a break time Thurs/Friday (when most people will be out) at a downtown spot. I can recommend many good places depending on the size of the group and how mobbed Binion's gets.Lunch or dinner or drinks. The problem here is timing and interest. I frankly, don't really know many of you, but would still like to meet people face to face.Another (better) possibility is centering it around the Wynn and one of Daniel's HU matches.Regardless, this type of event needs a big push or some organic organization. I'd be glad to help in that regard.
AcesFull 0
Im up for a meetup, Ill be there from July 5th to the 16th. Im staying at the Imperial Palace (I know, pretty ghetto, but itwas only $60 a night, im only sleeping there). ElKang, im coming in from NY too. Let me know if i can do anything to help out. KTW 0
Nothing wrong with the Imperial Palace. I always stay at The Frontier in the Atrium Suites. Nothing fancy by any means, but its 600 sq feet with a fridge and has a bedroom bathroom, big closet and living room and 2 T.Vs. Including taxes and all those LV surcharges it adds up to about $75 a night when booked online. 8)
ed1776 0
Going to be in town this weekend and I am considering playing in some satellites to see if I can get into the 3k limit event on sunday. Never been there for the WSOP so I have no idea how it works. Do they run satellites all day? Where do I need to go once I make it to the tournament space? Is it a separate buy in area from the regular events? Just trying to save myself some wandering once I get there. Thanks in advance for the help.
NeedAJoker 0
When you get to the Rio just follow the signs to the convention area when your in the parking lot. You park pretty uch right next to it in an open outside parking lot, walk in the doors, and take a right. Youll see all the people down a very long hallway with rooms on both sides, then youll see the WSOP info desk and the entrance to the Amazon room and there you are. And yes the Satelites are in the same room and yes i believe they go on all day as long as there is available tables. Hope this helps.
KTW 0
I am leaving for the airport in 5 mins. I should be playing in events 43,44 and 45. I will spending a great deal of time at the Rio before those tournies. I will be wearing shorts and some form of a "Poker" shirt almost all the time. I am 6-4 250 pounds with Very short hair so not too hard to miss. If you think you see me by all means say "Hi, I am a FCP dude aswell".(sw) Ok; A simple " R U KTW?" will suffice. Later. 8)

AUBrandon 0
even if ur not 21 u can still go in to the casino and watch ?This is something I have been meaning to ask too... I couldn't find any info anywhere about this. I am 22 and I'm playing in the Main Event. However, my gf is coming along and shes only 20. Are they letting people under 21 in the tournament area? I figured that they may allow this because there will be so many people there and there will be many spectators who aren't playing at all.... thanks.
