Not sure where I first saw this, or if I imagined it, but I've used it at a few home games where the rules aren't necessarily spelled out. If a card is exposed, the player has the option to keep the card but the card must remain face up for the remainder of the hand. It really makes it interesting since you don't know if the player has a pocket pair, 2 broadway cards or is just bluffing when they decide to keep the card and raise it up. If a second card is exposed then the hand is dead.

Yeah but how much has he won betting football? This is probably the same as the John Daly and Charles Barkley stories earlier in the year. They both claim they lost huge sums of money at casinos but most of the stories didn't report that they were either overall winners or the actual personal losses were much less because they had won so much before.Either way losing 4mil that was "in your pocket" still sucks.

Any chance that you could look into the possibility of using our points to join the PPA?

I don't think he's talking about his blogs. But rather the random, semi-poetic, ramblings his been posting in the forums.Maybe its stress?

Based on recent information the obvious answer is fold. All you need to do now is wait for a color up and you'll get way more than 10k in chips when the floor screws up...But really, for me, its an easy call. Why not take the chance when you know 100% that you have the lead going in. Unless you see his cards again you'll never know 100% that you are ahead.

Sounds like Daniel had his account hacked by Leelee Sobieski...

Just read your latest blog. I think the comedian you are talking about is Mitch Fatel. Funny guy. Definitely a different delivery style. He was an intern on Howard Stern way back and I've heard them talk about him on Leno.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the quick reply. How often does the list on the protege page update? I've been playing small stakes and I want to make sure I am on track to hit the 300 hands.

Is there a minimum stakes you need to play for in order to qualify?

I discovered a while ago that if you go to his archive you'll find articles that haven't shown up on page 2 yet. Especially with the magazine ones.

Here's his article on his brief main event appearanceSports Guy at the WSOPYeah he's right that the tourneys filled with tons of donks and you gotta get lucky, but sounds like he made a pretty stupid play. Nice read on his opponent post flop, but why would you call a raise of 5.5x the big blind, in the second level (assuming) and with a large stack relative to the blinds, with K-10 sooted? He probably shouldn't have been in the hand in the first place.

Actually if he did qualify through Full Tilt it sounds like he is eligible. The linked article mentions how Juanda and Lindgren are eligible for it since they qualified online. Also Cardplayer has him shown as a "friend" of Full Tilt and not an actual Full Tilt Pro. Unless they have it wrong. But Cardplayer is never wrong...Card Player

Was playing in a small 2 table live tourney this weekend and I kept running into this situation. I was by far the big stack at the final table. At least 25k in chips with second probably around 12k and a few more players around 4k-5k. Blinds were generally anywhere from 250-500 to 400-800. I was getting above average cards and making pretty healthy raises (5x-7x the big blind) trying to force the other players to make a decision. The situation I kept running into was I was getting great pot odds to make calls but didn't have the strongest holdings. A guy moved all in for 2800 into a 17k
