Two of the last 3 checks I've cashed out, I've made as an amount, i.e. $310.00. I just got that check today and it was for $310.18. Any idea why they are adding extra pennies to the checks?

I have had other gambling websites do similar things. When I deposited to matchbook.com, they charged me a few cents less than what I deposited, and when I withdrew from Bodog, they gave me a few cents more.I think it has to do with other people monitoring their transactions (probably banks). If all of their transactions are for XXX.00, it looks sort of fishy, where if it was random amounts of cents, they could make people believe that they are actually selling a product or a service.Each time I deposit using a Visa to a sportsbook or something, usually it has a different company name making the transaction. I imagine that is because US banks catch on quickly, an the website has to come up with a different name to avoid detection. The bank knows that Joe Blow Processor is to an offshore gambling, but they've never heard of Jane Doe.

I think I had an odd amount added to a check from stars once as well so it must be somewhat normal.

Last time I cashed out it was converted to UK Pounds so I have no idea whether they added a few extra cents to the ammount (or even if they got the currency coversion correct!)

This seems logical to me. I have one on it's way as well so we'll see. It's taking longer than normal to get to me too, is anyone else having this problem? Why'd they get rid of the echeck method? I loved getting my money that way, quick and easy.

Requested a check 1/21, didn't receive it until 2/1...seems to be about 4-5 days longer than normal.

Got it yesterday and I would agree it took about 4-5 days longer than normal and mine too had 3 cents added to the amount. They must really try to be ducking and dodging.

yea they have been doing this so it isn't so obv. to the banks and what not basically to keep a lower profile and stay off the radar

Do you have any evidence of any kind to back this up?I emailed stars, and they said that when this happens, it's an error at the payment processor. I guess I don't understand how adding a few pennies to a cashout amount would make that check 'okay'.
