QED 4
@AJo- don't mind the 3b, especially if MP is a reg or you suspect he will iso light. Good amount of dead money and we have position. Cbet/size is goot imo. We have overs if called and we keep repping that big purrrrIf you know he has a high fold to 3 bet it's ok as a bluff but in general at 5NL I think you just want to be making the nuts and value towning. For value we are getting in a dicey spot when we don't really know anything about him, chances are he calls with something that dominates us and we get into problems when we bink an ace and when we don't he has a pocket pair and people don't fold pocket pairs. I'd either flat to keep in stuff we dominate if he is loose as we have position anyway or just fold it if he is a nittertron.
KosinTrouble 0
I've gotten better at being able to get away from pots like this. When you get raised on a dry board, it's gonna be a set so much, so I don't mind a fold on the flop.I would def. make a note of his bet sizing though.I tend to agree, but I have noticed a lot of people at 10NL and 25NL raising thier flush draws and then betting the turn as well. So although I am torn on calling or folding I would definitly take note of how villians are playing flush draws of late.
KosinTrouble 0
So no real reads on villian, he is pretty lose in late positions from the few orbits I have seen from him. So what is my bet sizing here? Do I just jam (pot size bet?) or do I do a small $6 in hopes he jams calls? suggestions would be welcome please.Full Tilt Poker $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players - View hand 1236135DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History ConverterMP: $25.50CO: $27.58BTN: $42.88Hero (SB): $25.00BB: $26.37UTG: $51.95Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is SB with A K 2 folds, CO raises to $0.75, 1 fold, Hero raises to $2.50, BB calls $2.25, CO calls $1.75Flop: ($7.50) A 4 3 (3 players)Hero bets $5.50, BB folds, CO calls $5.50Turn: ($18.50) Q (2 players)Hero ??? K Q rivers would suck, but he should c/f 77... so we could turn 2p into a bluff

XXEddie 0
@ T9ss - I'd have trouble letting this go. Even with Ax and Kx flushes very possible, you've played this hand almost like you are worried of a flush (slowing down when it got there) so villain could easily be value shoving a set/2 pair or turning 1 pair hands into a bluff. I think I pay him off here. @ AJ - I think I call down here like KJ said. His line is very strong, but so is our hand. I've seen this line be AK/AQ somewhat often, but I don't think raising the turn is a smart idea even with his small bet. Villain is unlikely to call with anything we beat other than an oddly played AT. @ AK - That's a shitty turn card. I think I bet like $7 to try to induce a spaz from a weaker hand, and stack off if they shove. Shove any river if they just flat the turn. I might even check here to induce a bet then shove over it. It's a play I like a lot with AA/KK on K/Q/J high boards letting my opponent think he is v-betting his top pair. Then when I shove they are committed. @ James - Run good much? I might head up to Blackhawk as early as 6pm. The girlie is going out for St. Patties Day around then so I might just leave when she does. @ KK - Yeah, I sigh and shove. This could be a spazzy QQ/JJ/AK a lot unless you have contradictory reads. Ship it and bink a K if necessary. EZ game.
XXEddie 0
@K9- iso raise larger... 3x +1bb for each limper... so .20. Post flop looks goot to me.@AK- I'm cbetting .25 and c/c river is fine bc we just called turn thinking he has a lot of bluffs, we must let him bluff. min-3betting turn can be fun when they spaz @AJo- don't mind the 3b, especially if MP is a reg or you suspect he will iso light. Good amount of dead money and we have position. Cbet/size is goot imo. We have overs if called and we keep repping that big purrrr@AQ- Again I iso to .20 and yes I'm getting it in on that flop vs almost all villains@KQ- fine imo, hope he dies for SSing@AA- I don't mind it. I kinda like bet/folding the turn a bit more just bc I think we need to value bet thin in these games, but its never bad to slow down in a 3way pot after that flop action.K9- SB folded so no showdownAK- Villain checked behind with 44AJ- Villain folded to c-betAQ - He showed A7dd and I bink a club no waiting. KQ- Villain called with 32cc. Certainly not a hand I expected lawls. He gave it all back though when I had AA, c-bet and checked the turn, letting him bet half his stack with KT on a K929 board. I shipped and missed the two outer. Yay!AA - SB flatted, too. BB showed KT and SB showed AQss. I won.
