The fact that the asdfjkl; have lost such a quality player so early into the expansion draft illustrates the vast depth of the team. It once again just shows thebrilliance of the GM of the asdfjkl;. There aren't too many free agents available this year as the expansion teams have forced GM's to sign guys at prices of $14-$20 for superstars, when the price usually is around $10-$16. All the talk though around the FCHL water cooler has been about asdfjkl; superstar Sergei Zubov. GM Biatch has decided that there is no room for Zubov due to the absolute depth of their defencemen this year. The other GM's in the league though are very desperate for defencemen of his calibre and Zubov likely is the most-prized free agent this year. Rumours have been circulating that he will fetch for a price of about $20-$30. This just illustrates how valuable players on the asdfjkl; are. The experience they gain being on such a great team is unmatchable and the price players fetch after they leave the asdfjkl; just demonstrates that value. GM Biatch only has about $14 in cap to spend on the free agent draft but still has a few tricks up his sleeve. Link to post Share on other sites

A closer look at the available salary cap situation league wide, only two teams have the space to give Zubov an over priced contract. Zubov shouldn't be buying those seven Lamborghini's just yet. I have a feeling this year is going to be the year when all the critics will have nothing to say because the Mustangs and asdfjkl; will reign supreme over the AHL and FCHL.
