** FCHL's Toronto Rocket - Official Thread **

Recommended Posts

Yeah, that's my only real weakness. Won't be able to add one, but I'm going to have 6 guys over 0.425 every single playoff game. I end up with 4 0.300+ d-men most games, too.

Montreal and the Isles are solid, but I end up with two no goalie games in the second round, and one in the finals, so that's rough. Might look into trading before the deadline, but it would need to be a cheaper set.

Yup, just got accepted into a program at Ryerson for the fall.

You're welcome.

Ok, one final trade:

I ship NYI goalies ($0.75/RFA) to Jay

for

NJD goalies ($0.75 for a few years)

NJD is very slightly better than NYI, but they take me from 3 no-goalie games to 1.

Montreal covers 14/21 playoff nights as it is, so NJ should only get used 6 times at most (though 3 of those are in the finals, should I be so lucky).

Does Zach usually discuss transit on the FCHL site?

No. But he did yesterday and it got a mini discussion going there as well.

In all honesty, it doesn't bother me in the least. I'm just busting Zach's chops.

  • 4 weeks later...

Need some forward advice ASAP.

Pick three:

Nick Bjugstad (vs BUF) - 0.467 ppg

Patrick Marleau (vs OTT) - 0.460 ppg

Jordan Eberle (vs STL) - 0.475 ppg

Patrice Bergeron (vs ARI) - 0.492 ppg

Drop eberle. Other 3 have premium match ups. Oilers probably won't score against the blues

That's what I've had so far, but for some reason my gut is telling me to find a way to get Eberle in.

I guess Bjugstad is the most obvious drop, but it's friggen Buffalo... lol

Bjugstad taking line rushes with Jagr and Jokinen in warmup.

St. Louis has let in over 3 goals against per game over the last 10... but Edmonton has only scored 2 per game.

Eberle or Bjugstad is the decision. I have 14 minutes.

Bjugstad - 4a

Eberle - 10a

Bergeron - 4g, 4a

Marleau - 3g, 5a

Almost 2 periods through the 10 pm games, all 4 players have points. Eberle, though, was the worst with one lonely assist.

Good work, team.

My lineup for tonight is above. Does anybody see a way to fit Filppula in (vs Buffalo) tonight?
