Zach6668 513
More time for you this week, Arp. Pick 6: Panarin Coyle Eberle Skinner Rask O'Reilly Barkov Sharp
digitalmonkey 929
Everyone but Eberle is good.
Zach6668 513
Eberle is good! And that's part of the problem lol.
MapleLeafpoker 1,462
Definitely don't use Barkov. Put Johansson in, I think he'll find a way to get on the scoresheet.
Zach6668 513
Barkov is hot! I guess the main reason I post is to reaffirm my decision to leave O'Reilly on the bench here. Or if something else comes up.
Zach6668 513
Bad call on O'Reilly you guys.
Zach6668 513
More time for you this week, Arp. Pick 6: Panarin Coyle Eberle Skinner Rask O'Reilly Barkov Sharp Welp... unless Coyle does something in the third, the only player to even get a point here was O'Reilly. Of course he was on my bench for 2+1. Not a good plan for winning games.
Zach6668 513
Update: Rockets are 29-14 and alone in 1st place at the Christmas break.
Zach6668 513
Trade Deadline update: The Rockets completed two trades today. One with the Fearsome Beavers, another with the Tulane Flyers. Many other talks took place, but fell through in the end. In: T.J Oshie Logan Couture Kyle Okposo Marc-Edouard Vlasic Dennis Wideman Out: Ryan O'Reilly Nick Bjugstad Carl Hagelin Connor Murphy Casey Nelson Brett Ritchie (farm) 2019 1st rounder 2018 2nd rounder 2017 3rd rounder I'm not the favorite to win the title, I don't think (but it's close), but I've bolstered my lineup considerably. I wish I could have found a better defensemen, but it was not to be. Rockets currently hold a 5 point lead in the race for the President's Trophy (regular season winners) with a record of 44-22-0. Zach6668 513
Barring injury, Marc-Edouard Vlasic won't even get into an FCHL game until Game 7 of the 1st round, if necessary. TJ Oshie and Logan Couture will make their debuts on Tuesday, while Kyle Okposo likely has to wait until Thursday, but will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Zach6668 513
The regular season title will be decided tonight. Rockets 104 Hurricanes 103 Both of us happen to be playing vs the Lost Cause. I win any tiebreaker.
Zach6668 513
Backed my way in to the franchise's first ever regular season title. woohoo.
Zach6668 513
Goalie decision help needed. San Jose vs Washington or New Jersey @ Colorado SJ is 4th in the league in goals against. NJ is 21st. Washington is 3rd in the league in goals per game. Colorado is dead last. Neither team plays tonight or Friday, so back to backs are not an issue in play.
Dubey 1,035
Colorado is historically bad. I'd go with New Jersey and feel great about it.
Similar issue: San Jose vs Nashville or New Jersey @ Arizona SJ is 3rd in the league in goals against. NJ is 21st. Nashville is 9th in the league in goals per game. Arizona is 27th. You may want to note that in the scenario I asked about above, SJ let in 2 goals, NJ allowed 3.
Dubey 1,035
When in doubt, just use the vegas line and choose the lowest implied ga. Close to a toss up for this one. SJ/NSH has o/u of 5.5 and SJ is a big -150 favourite. NJ/ARI has o/u of 5.0 and NJ is slight fav -
Zach6668 513
If it wasn't close, I wouldn't be asking. I could employ the Biatch strategy and get the game out of the way early - SJ at 4 pm. Lol.
Dubey 1,035
Lol, fair enough. I'd go with New Jersey again
Zach6668 513
Just feels like with SJ, I'm probably getting 2 or 3 GA. With NJ it could be 0 or could be 6. I have me as a 0.6 goal favorite. More like 0.4 if I have to swap out Dougie Hamilton. Bah. IMO, whoever wins this game wins the series. (Game 5, series tied at 2, for non-FCHLers)
Zach6668 513
If you take the average of NJ GAA and ARI GFA you get 2.64. If you take the average of SJ GAA and NSH GFA you get 2.64 This doesn't help.
Untilted 158
SJ is home When in doubt, go with home team
