These things annoy me so often. Please feel free to post any more ridiculous ones that you come across. Some of them are perfectly simple, and some of them were clearly created by nerds who hate people. I was looking to buy tickets to go see the yankees lose sometime, and here is the one they have - now I understand that a website like theirs is exactly the type that needs this kind of security, but come on, this is just ridiculous:'ralph mercantile' was not accepted. FUCK YOU! On my next chance I realized that while they say I must type both "words," this does not imply that they are offering proper English words, in the traditional sense of a word being something you didn't just make up. I had no problem with this one (fessions pressure). They had already sent me on this rant though, so I went back to try a few more. What the balls!!!! Is that a hebrew character? First they tell me it's gonna be words, then I find out they are also including made-up words (ralph mercanule?? who knows), and now they hit me with some sort of square. I realize now that it's probably a 17, but I didn't try it since I'd already found out they didn't have the tickets I wanted. And don't even get me started on the 'vision impaired' button.

I saw one where the images were a series of cats in different poses. The user was shown an image of a cat in a particular pose and was supposed to count the amount of cats above that had the same pose. But all the cats had weird blurry lines over them. It was nearly impossible to do. It was for access to some science article site or something like that. I wish I could find it, it's the worse one I've ever encountered.

:D That got a good long belly laugh from me.I get these stupid things ALL the time -- not even for buying stuff anymore, but for the least little things like sign-ups. Now I'll keep an eye out for good ones. I'm quite sure some of them are the names of the programmers' buddies, and I too have gotten several that were not words at all. I have no idea what that Hebrew-looking character is. I've tried the "vision-impaired" button, too -- and I swear, I've heard New York City subway announcements that were clearer.

First of all, the font on the words 'vision impaired' is much much smaller than the variable font (if you will) on the words in the box. Basically they're just insulting anybody who can't figure out the word puzzles (read: anybody over 50) by saying that if you can't figure it out you must be vision impaired. It should be the 'Those aren't fucking words Button.'Ok and then you click on it. It is EASILY harder than the words. It tells you there are eight numbers to type into the box, and then reads out a series of numbers with varied pauses in between. Fine, but they also have weird tape loops of backwards speech going reasonably loudly in the background. Apparently they are concerned that people would write a program that would listen to the numbers and fill them in automatically, so they made it a bit confusing like the words (probably a smart concern, but this is just ridiculous). The people who are clicking that button are not for the life of them gonna be able to figure out the numbers.

Seriously! It's like a big insult: 'If you're too stupid or blind to figure out the words so here's an audio clue for you.....hahahahaha but it's completely unintelligible - joke's on you!'
