Waffles2003 1
way to jinx him... http://www.pokernews.com/live-reporting/20...ain-event/day2/Payouts:1 $ 499,162 - 2 $ 257,637 - 3 $ 128,816 - 4 $ 112,714 - 5 $ 96,612 - 6 $ 80,510 - 7 $ 64,408 - 8 $ 48,306 - 9 $ 32,204 - 30 left, JC has 100k in chips with blinds at 1500/3000 (400).JC was one of the shorter stacks going into the bubble and more than tripled during the bubble period, so I've bolded which place he's playing for. PrtyPSux 0
Sigh I had a sick feeling Adam had AA, I've played with him a lot before tho and I've seen him flat call me in the same spot with A7o he's also seen me check the flop with weak hands and bet most of my big hands....If I bet the flop and he raised I was folding, which I guess is what I should have done. I always second guess myself though.....the turn brought a ton of draws so it not only could he think I'm betting a draw and move in on me, but he could think I'm betting JJ or something and move in on me with a draw. I don't think I can fold when I check the flop and he shoves for about 40k over my turn bet. The true tourney defining hand was when I flat called this young talkative dude I've never seen before with 99 from the SB with 90k behind, BB calls, flop is Kd3d6d and both looked like they didnt like it...I lead 14k into 21k and he flat calls, the turn was a 8c and I checked (I should have bet like 22k) he checked back, the river was an Ace and I froze up and thought he might have the Ad, but thats dumb because he never has an Ace and he'd have to make a hero call with his range, so I shoulda shipped on him and I would have been up to 120k or so.The structure is really bad, I felt real comfortable with my stack at 1/2 and then I lost a small pot and was suddenly down to 25bb's when the blinds moved up...Another bad beat was my table, in order from my immed left: Sick Asian kid who I don't know, Adam Geyer (simmsux), Peter Feldman (later replaced by internet kid), Ralph Perry with all the chips, Ben Fineman, Bodog Ari, Allen Cunningham.......Considering the field that started this tourney, the field that was left with 40 players was ridiculous. /suicide. 20TN40 0
Holy cow, Batman! I was standing right there on the rail when those two pics were taken. Great meeting you JC and wish I could have stayed and watched it all. The room was full of sicko's and your first table was pretty gruesome as well. Wish I had been able to record the audio when Dario was explaining to Doug Le how horribly bad he played the hand right before break. Few hands after break, Doug busted Dario and took waaaaaay too much pleasure in it. Do you know who the kid was at the far end of table behind you at the end of day one......the one that almost wet his pants everytime EDog was in a hand?
