SuitedAces21 2,722
Webster's Dictionary:the particular doctrines or principles propagated by an organization or movement.that definition is weak.Propaganda is the deliberate, systematic attempt to shape perceptions, manipulate cognitions, and direct behavior to achieve a response that furthers the desired intent of the propagandist.and the film, 'In the Valley of Elah' does not meet that definition. (see: ironic)We disagree that 'In the Valley of Elah' does not meet a definition of propaganda. We agree that we would still like to have sex with each other.*manly chestbump*

king_tanner 84
I re-watched Death Proof. I really like this movie. I DVR'ed it, so I was able to watch the chase scene like 30 times in a row.

SuitedAces21 2,722
Teeth. Really enjoyed it.Turn the volume all the way up on your computer and listen carefully to the next words I type...I wish I was named Teeth at birth. That way people could say to me, "Your name is Teeth" and not be a filthy and desperate liar.-god himself

BigDMcGee 3,353
The Good the Bad and the Weird, a korean remake of the good the bad and the ugly, set in the 30's ( I think, some where around there). Fantastic popcorn entertainment, lots of flashy gun fights, and one of the best chase scene/shoot outs I've ever seen, where most of the chasing was on horse back ( with a motorcycle and jeep thrown in here and there.) El Guapo 8
The Mummy Three. No idea what the real title is.I fell asleep with about 30 minutes to go, but it had Yettie's, so that was pretty cool.
BigDMcGee 3,353
I also watched Birth of a Nation for my ICS class. Some crazy sh!t.President Wilson said it was the most important movie in our nation's history. It's such an interesting movie on so many levels. It was basically the first feature length movie, it was ground breaking in many ways, but it was about such a horrific subject matter. Fantastically interesting.

For the longest time I thought Godfather 2 was the first sequel, because I couldn't think of any before that (not counting the Bond movies, which really stand on their own). Further research set me straight (sorta), but Fall of a Nation is considered to be the very first sequel.

PMJackson21 0
Harold and Kumar go to Guatanamo Bay or whatever the title is. It was funny enough, made me lol a few times, and I only felt it was silly/stupid a few times. Smoking pot with Bush scene was pretty comical, although the guy they got to play GWB sucked.I also watched 21 which at least kept me interested. I read and enjoyed the book like 5 years ago, and unless my memory is worse then I thought, they changed quite a bit for the movie. Still enjoyable though and it made me want to get out to Vegas. Those were great.Ya, been thinking about it. Prob same format, just have to figure out what I can do for prizes. I was thinking fpp points on Stars because I have a ton, but they won't let me transfer them. So maybe I can assign a certain number of points for each place, and then the winners can pick what they want from the fpp store and I can have Stars send it to them instead of me (iirc, they let you do that). Change Kevin Spacey to Ian McShane and stay truer to the book and actual story, and it's an instant classic.

powerpoker 0
Friday the 13th (2009), lots of sex and violence, and jason just dishing out the pain. Good times. Although i dont think i would rate it higher than Jason Lives (part 6), but it might be second in the overall Friday the 13th series. Now i gotta wait till next year till Nightmare on Elm Street comes out...sigh
king_tanner 84
The Son of Sam... a Spike Lee jointI didn't really like it. It wasn't really about the murderer, it was about how the murderer affected a group of people. It seemed like all the stories really developed into nothing. I thought I remember hearing good reviews for it, just not my taste I guess. I know the movie was made 10 years ago but Mira Sorvino is smoking hot.
