DunkinDonuts 0
Woot! Hotel is the more important thing though. Most of Foxwoods was sold out a couple weeks ago, only the really expensive rooms were available. I'm staying in a little bed and breakfast about 1/3 mile away, but right next to the Two Towers or whatever its called. (part of the foxwoods hotel). It has a shuttle over to the main casino.MarkIf it's Abbey's Lantern Hill Inn, I hope you get a nicer room than I did, or you'll find yourself sleeping on the benches outside the noodle bar. The pics looked ok??? Ack, now I'm scared!MarkThe pics looked nice to me, too... and you can't beat the location. But we spent about $170 and ended up getting the Country Room. The heat didn't work, the TV got only network channels and the rest was static, and we couldn't get hot water. There was also no soap or shampoo, not even the travel kind. After seeing the pictures, I think we got the worst of the rooms. I was only upset because I'm used to rooming low-budget, and thought that paying $170 would get me a bit more than Motel 6... even near Foxwoods.

Tiltinagain 973
I'm really confused as to how a flight to foxwoods costs over $150 more than a flight to vegasBecause there are a whole lot more flights/airlines going into Las Vegas than Providence. One of the reasons so many conventions are held there is because it is so (relatively) inexpensive to fly people into there from all over the country (and beyond).Competitive market pricing at it's finest! steve7stud 0
I was 50-50 on going out there. My plan was to play the main event, then go to New York for a week. Shocked that Foxwoods is sold out. That kind of changes everything. Also shocked that Mark didn't tell me about a potential meet n greet. What is this world coming to?Steve
