I don't play free bar tourneys, in fact never have. Next........MmmHmm. Making FT's 85% of the time (which we all know is not only untrue, but almost impossible) and complaining about not getting respect, will not garner you any here either, just sayin. lol @ everyone posting in this thread and taking 'her' seriously. pokergoddess 0 Posted October 11, 2007 Author Share Posted October 11, 2007 My point is that any girl that plays the poker circuit regardless of how bad they are has a much better shot at surviving in the poker world by getting a deal or getting a stake than any of the horrible guy players and even most of the semi-accomplished players.oh, and she doesn't make 85% final tables in 100+ player tourneys.....she's just lying to herself, or she's only played 5 of them.I said I've been logging my winnings over the last 1 and a half or so. I play live tourneys about 4 times a week some times more some times a few less. But all in all I cash all the time. It's really not that hard to get to a final table in these local tournaments at the Goldstrike, The Grand, and Sams town, most of the other casinos don't have poker rooms, the Horseshoe is a good place for a big tourney as well. If you make 85% final tables (50 - 200 entries/tourney) and play 4 or more times a week, then you must already have a ton of confidence in your game because you have already won more money than most of the posters on here. If you are that confident then you already get the respect that you want/deserve and should have no trouble playing poker in Vegas.Now as you can see that paragraph is just hard for most of us to believe to be true.Oh and if you watch any poker on TV like the WPT, then you've probably seen PrtyPsux. I'm here.loloolollool @ "it isn't easy for a female in the poker world" ......I won't go into too much detail but females in poker have it WAY easier than any of the guy, If I had boobs I'd be getting staked in all the tourneys by a poker site since 2006. Most girls that are well known in poker are terrible (witht the exception of 3 or 4) and most of them have some sick deals w/ poker sites. Also, if for some reason they couldn't get a deal with a site, they'd have a backer in a second. I would say it is VERY easy for a female in the poker world, and the main reason why most of them suck is because of the fact that they have it so easy and they don't put in the hours to work on their game if you're getting freerolled into wpt's and getting sponsorship money its easy to convince yourself you're a winning poker player. Aside from that, from reading you're first post, you're not ready to move to vegas and become a pro...You just have a bad agent JC. As soon as I take down a million, you got a staker bro. They don't think a woman can play and I think that's one of the reasons you don't see many women at the final table at big tourneys. So what do I do to get them to sit up and take notice that I'm probably better than 70 percent of the players at the table? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. P. GoddessLet them bully you to a certain extent. You give them a little taste and they'll want more, so they keep coming after you and coming after you. You just give up a little at a time until you have them right where you want them and then you take it all away from them. Then they become obsessed with getting what you have and start doing stupid things and then you can really take advantage of them.It seems that one of the many things you aren't good at is being a woman.
