October Goals

My month is finished so I started the thread. I stole Jordan's poll because I think it's awesome

September Goals:To have my first $1000 dollar month. Move up to nl50 which I want to do when I reach $1500. So thats about 18 buyins, which I want to do in about 2 weeks, and then another $500 is at nl50 in the second two weeks. About 25k-30k hands and I want to play at least 1k hands of Omaha. Hopefully alot of the profit will be on tilt, as I'm underolled over there.

August ResultsFailed to have a $1000 dollar month, made $500 at nl25 in the first 2 weeks as planned. Moved up to nl50 and Poker is Easy as I go on a sick early rush. Then Poker sucks as I lose it all back. Then 1 and a half weeks of breakeven poker. Finally started to turn around towards the end. Lost money on Full Tilt Poker in the first week, and stopped playing there as their software annoys me. I also made Gold Star on Stars.Only played 23k hands, It was really hard to put hands in the first half of the month.It's almost not worth putting in the PLO, I played no hands. I need major work on my NLHE game so I wasn't motivated to try something new.My September NLHE graph (wee swingy at the end)October GoalsSo at the advice of Jordan I've been tweaking on my game. So this month I'm sticking for two tabling for a while and really concentrating. I might add another table or two if I'm getting very comfortable and playing/running well. So less hands this month, maybe only 15k hands. However I do want to maintain Gold Star status. No Monetary goal but I want a decent winrate by the end of the month, at least 5ptbb/100 at nl50, so thats $750 which I think is extremely doable. I won't be taking any shots at nl100 until I have at least 35 buyins for it, so $3500 in the bankroll, so I most probably won't take any shots this month. There are no Omaha goals this month.

September goal -- 15-20k hands, 5bb/100 - $375-500 total profit, plus rakeback. Also have to get some sng's happening for a bet with simo8ball (or make enough to not care about paying him the $45...lol)

Bwahaha. Made 1/3 goals in that I played 25k hands for the month. Unfortunately, due to my own stupidity, I lost about $300 before rakeback. I played 23k hands of $25plo, and ended up with a small profit there -- unfortunately, out of sheer stupidity, I put in a couple of sessions at $50 and $100 plo and plo8 as well. Lost a couple of buyins there, which would be no big deal if rolled properly, but since I am not, it really hurt the bottom line for the month. All in all, with rakeback owing (~$350) I should be pretty much break-even on the month.October Goal - 15-20k hands at ONLY $25plo. Somewhere between 3-5 ptbb/100. $250-$300 in rakeback. Maintain gold status at ftp. Gl all!

My bankroll has basically been in a state of stalemate for the last couple of months. This month I plan on setting some serious targets and meeting them. I play small so a $100 boost to my bankrolll of $250 would be excellent.

after a crappy run at the 6 man sngs on ap, i recently switched to NL cash games. goals for this month are to play between 25k and 30k hands at 25nl, run at at least 5ptbb/100, and finish off the month with a $1000 profit (should get about $300 in rakeback) . ill only move up to $50NL once I hit $1000 for the br (currently at $400).

Weren't you giving up poker?Anyway, i managed to turn one dollar into $30 halfway through September, but then burned fifteen of it up on tilt. Gonna aim to get to $45 by the end of October, playing low buy in SNGs and 4 tabling full ring limit games(after reading SSHE).

I'm going to try to just play and let the results take care of themselves. Goal is two hours a day, six days a week of 4-tabling limit hold-em within my bankroll. That means I'm starting the month at .10/.20 on Stars. Should be about 15k hands for the month. Also going to post 2 hands from each session in strat, and respond to at least 2, so I'm thinking about how I'm playing rather than how much I've won or lost.

Last month I had 2 aims:- Play four 5-8 hour sessions each week.- Get the bankroll from £1090 to £2000This was to be achieved playing the £0.50/£1 £100 max at the Victoria Grosvenor Casino, London as well as at various home games in North London (same stakes). The first 3 weeks of the month I was +£600, but I had a monster week during the EPT when the soft games enabled me to earn £650. As a result I am +£1250 for the month, with a bankroll of £2340. Unfortunately I fell ill in the 3rd week of last month and only played one 8 hour session; I've decided to take a business decision to stop eating from that dodgy Moroccan restaurant and go to somewhere with double the prices and double the hygiene. It'll still be Morroccan cuisine though (with a casino on Edgeware Road, what else would it be?).My aim for October is to step up a gear, while remaining at the same level. I've decided to exclude unneccessary home games from my schedule and to focus purely on the Vic grind. I aim:- to play 35 hours a week- to get my bankroll to £3500This should enable me to go up in stakes next month, to start trying out the £1/£2. I've played with several of the £1/£2 grinders (some drop down occassionally for whatever reason) and I'm most certainly unperturbed by them ...I know I can beat that stake with ease, it's just a matter of getting the comfy bankroll to do so. Oh and £1 = $2 (roughly).

It's a she. She's ok. She plays mid stakes LHE, and semibluffs everything every time no matter what, and sets mikeysong on life tilt every time. I don't know how she plays tournies though.I've played with PASUPATA before, so bust him as well. I think SFWINNER is a donk, but I could be wrong, I don't feel like opening my old db.

September Goals:-Continue to play 32 $16 sngs per day half-check..lol-Once BR is over $2000, add on more tables(atm im only 4-tabling) started 12 tabling $6 sngs-Play in a WCOOP event(Im going to try and sat in, hopefully it'll work out) never tried-Play the occasional MTT(but once again they'll take a backseat to sngs until my roll is healthy) didnt play one until the 100k today, busted 889th for $56Profit Goal: $1500 well short

My graph for sngs for the last month(I dont think it's entirely accurate). So I started off really well at the $16 sng level and then I plummeted and started to break even. I decided I wanted to 12 table so I dropped back down to $6 sngs and have been doing that from September 20th till today.Total SNGS played: 772SNG Profit: +$452.10MTT Profit: +$43.26Total Profit: +$495.36So I didnt reach my goal but Im fine with that since my 1st half of the month was awful.October Goals:Continue to 12-table $6 sngs and play 72 per dayPlay the 100k on Stars every SundayEarn GoldStar on PS(Was 900VPP short this month)Profit Goal: $1500Once again setting my profit goal at $1500 which I know I can achieve if I run average. Well after losing almost all of my bankroll at the Heartland Poker Tour through satellites/qualifiers/cash games I've taken the last two weeks off to try to get things straightened out. My goal for this month is very simple and general: get back on my feet pokerwise.Which means being able to play the stakes I was at comfortably and on an everyday basis.
