  1. same here.i actually only have like 3 bucks on pstars, i want to move my bankroll from party to PS.
  2. 24 times? damn!are you related to DN?(sw)i need to play in one of those again also, last one i play in i placed 3rd.and only had to add-on
  3. ditto, kind of hard to help ya out without at least that information.
  4. i would say the two biggest possibilities are,(in order)1) Two Pair: on the button he could be playing A3, A8, K8 if he had AK i think he wouldve raised your bet preflop.2) Bluffing: in this situation he could be bullying you since you have a shorter stack than him, and playing off the flush scare card. if he had a flush i dont believe(even if it was small) that he would push, he would probably try to get a call out of you and risk another heart hitting.soo, if you have any reads on him, or have seen him muck some hands on the river where he was possibly bluffing, or possibly show down a bluff
  5. They came over and made a post here inviting us.....CRASHING?? No.excuse me, really i was unaware.i just remember someone posting about 3 months ago about "stealing their password" and that all the fcpers should play.my bad.
  6. so true.the "rivalry" is really non existent, not that it matters, but the whole thing that started it was Neverwin saying he would challenge DN in Limit and take him down.which i really believe would happen.
  7. This tournament isnt exactly for our forum...if you didnt notice.how would you like someone crashing your party who wasnt invited,or more direct, how would you like the pro's at Neverwin invading our weekly tournament and taking it down.
  8. it would help to have some reads maybe, and the stack size of the EP raise.im asuming he is TAG, since he is raising to 5xBB in EPyou are at least going to call, but a min raise(putting in 235 more) for insurance is also a good idea,if you do either of those youpush preflop with lack of a A or K on the flop.push preflop is always an option, but i think raising 235 more has more value, and your mroe likely to recieve a call.
  9. when your near the bubble and a big stack pushes into, and you look down to find AA,fold it if there are 10 or less players left till you get a seat.but youll obviously have to call if you have a short stack(6m or lower)and if you are short stacked near the bubble, small pairs are very weak for pushing.youll get called by some big stack with K7, and youll lose.so up until the bubble, just play your normal tournament game
  10. i do agree with your questioning and assesment.but DN did mention picking up a tell on a well named pro by watching WPT dvds.of course picking up tells is his job, and he probably watched that clip 10 times in a row before picking up on it.
  11. as im sure was previously stated by many, everyone has bad runs, and they can get long.and it does take a lot of luck to win a wsop braceletand if the cards do even out in the end, maybe hes catching the opposite end of this luck at stars now.did he not claim too constantly beat those games, and now all of the sudden there is something seriously wrong with stars when he has has a bad week.this might not be the case in this circumstance, but i think a lot of poker players let ego get in the way of seeing faults in their game.and when you win your first wsop bracelet, it seems as if you make no m
  12. definetly a call/fold as someone else had mentinoed, your required to call here with your pot odds. so folding here is no good. but i dont know if pushing here was a good idea. if you said you were playing to win and everyone at your table is LAG you should be playing conservative.
  13. why more than one day? unless theres like 1k people in it.were not playing for mass amounts of money hereit shouldnt take longer than a day.
  14. who cares.heads-up play is fun.i dont think this is because of t.v.
  15. you really dont want to see fourth street in that position.so raising all-in was a good move.you needed to take down the pot right there as you did.if he had a flush and an iniside straight draw he might even call you there but thats why you push to put him to a decision.if you just call his reraise or min re-re-raise then hes inclined to call because of pot odds and your giving him virtually a free card.and there are SO many scare cards that can hit on fourth.you played it well even if you made the mistake of thinking you want to get more chips from him on fourth.
  16. i like your second idea, sort of like the tournament of champions.but putting it all out their with one last tournament will make it more luck i think. althoguh it will keep , the ones who have fallen behind in points, coming back for more, and still contributing to the prize pool.
  17. its my personal atm.be carefull on the 6max tables unless you have some experience with short handed omaha.try the high/low if you know how to play it decently, i find it even more profitable.
  18. dont say anything, just keep playing your game, and keep his play in mind.when it is this early in the tournament and stacks are deep he does have huge implied odds. it was a bad play with 2/4. but with suited connectors or a smal pair, i can see a lot of people taking a risk early in the tournament, especially with a chip lead.
  19. you sound like a real pro.if your handling it that well, just jump up to 5/10 you should dominate that game.sw
  20. i dont disagree but i just had to laugh when i read that line.and if i had to pick one platyer overall for tournament and cash game play, it would also be ivey.
  21. good ideas.cant wait for his book, has he even started it?it would be nice if he could lay it out like harringtons, easing you into the ideas and then giving examples to support and show it in action.
  22. so true.i would think it would be a 50/50 field.half rocks half maniacs.(i am exaggerating a little)
  23. im guessing your talking about tournament play.ive read harringtons books soo i would say i play more like him.you definetly need more choices next time.
  24. I think it sounds interesting. Could be quite a lot of strategy in it as well.Have you ever played the game "Guts" ?when io play dealers choise with my realitives sometimes my uncles call that game.
