I got no shame...i've gone bust atleast 5 times...but i've been playing for about 6 years now. And 4 of those times were within the first couple years when i had no clue of BR managment lol.

isn't the BR requirement for this game like 40K lol20 x 2K max buyin...Personally i think it takes a lot of heart to play at that level of PLO.I know i would be outclassed at those tables and my BR isn't even close to being able to stand the variance of that game.

I don't think you have a choice to fold here really.Sometimes you gotta pay them off. Its similar to hold to full against quads. Not much you can do but pay them off.Def a bad beat.

TTOP was my major turning point in poker.I had always known how to play poker and what was the right play in given situations based on odds and whatnot. But i never THOUGHT about poker in the way that i do now when i'm playing at the table. And i would say that i owe this to The Thoery of Poker.

300xBB is for LIMIT Holdem not NLNL it is recommended to have at a min of 25 full buy-ins to w/e level you are playing.So at 1/2 with a max buy-in of 200. Take 200 x 25 = 5KSo 2500bb isn't overdoing it if you play NL

Then one day someone gave me a poker book and i read it. And inside of it was all this great info on how to play boker statistically correct and how to NOT GO BROKE. So i listened. And i havn't gone bust since.Basically just play within your boundaries and you won't go broke. It really depends on your style of play...Basically if the flop comes A K J with two spades and someone pots it can u release the hand?And if you can't then you need to sit back and nut peddle. I would just stick with sitting on your hands (literally if you have to) and only play the strong hands as you will no doubt get paid off on them as well.

I for one don't think that telling the people here on FCP is telling EVERYONE!!If i find a consitant way to make money playing whatever i will be the first to tell everyone on here. Yup!! I am not really sick of poker it's more of being sick of bad poker players. You get used to the bad beats but the bad play seems to be getting brutal lately. I would rather play with players who know at least some of the advanced techniques in poker rather than some beginner. And I can't go up high enough in limits to get away from these bad players. Is it just me or does that just scream bad idea...Putting your BR towards learning something. I would recommend reading on all of the games..learn to play them individually well and THEN put your BR towards making money at the game...not learningJust trying to help
