I found this one to be VERY helpful when I was out there three weeks ago:http://www.vegastexasholdem.net/poker/tour...ntSchedules.htmPrint that out, then just look at it an hour or so before when you're looking to go play one, and it'll tell you which ones have a tourney at that time. It's very up to date and accurate as well.

Tournaments$10 buy-in, unlimited re-buys during the first four levels (20 minute levels), add-on of equal amount to original buy-in at end of rebuy period if under 1/4 of original stack.Cash Game$.10/$.20 blind NL, $10 min buy-in, no max. I've introduced mixed games a few times, and all limit games are played at $.25/$.50 ($.10/$.25 blinds, although whoever suggested $.25/$.25 had a great point) with a $.05 ante/$.10 bring-in for stud games.Works pretty well. I'd love to play higher of course (that's what the local cardroom and semi-local casino is for I guess), but most of my friends that com

Ugh. Why do people have to be such douchebags when they're trying to fit into a community, just because it's online? You wouldn't act this way in real life, so hows about cutting it out and trying to be a human being for five minutes?

Doing Battle With A Formidable Opponent

I have these battles with the best player in my home game all the time. Anytime we happen to get heads-up actually, which is a large percentage of the time.We play for pretty small stakes, but we learn more from discussing each other's play afterwards than anything else. I started out a much better player, but through teaching him some key concepts, he's definitely catching up. He's gotten the best of me heads up the last two times we've played, although Sunday night we both admitted that we played like **** (aka passive as hell, which is nothing like we usually play), and ended up splitting t -
Congrats man. Reminds me of my first ever Vegas trip last year when I got off the plane at 3pm, slept 8 hours and won the first tourney I played in at the Horseshoe (2am daily) in a very similar fashion to how you won yours.Memories...

Face it. The Binion's legacy is dead. More accurately, it's been manslaughtered by Harrah's Inc. and their shitty tournament directors.Quite sad. -

Fort Waynewww.midwestpokerseries.com------------------------------------------------------------------Sam Farha Wins the $5,000 Omaha 8/b ($398,560)Sam Farha makes Jacks and Sevens to eliminate Phil Ivey in 2nd place. ($219,208) Phil Ivey is denied his sixth bracelet while Sam Farha wins his second. :(Oh well. Sammy rules too, but I want to see Ivey get his 10th bracelet before Hellmuth. -

Amen to that. I've got satellites to play downtown for the biggest local tourney of the year ($10,000 guarantee for 1st) later today.Come on Phil. Time to walk on water back to the table and mount the greatest comeback since the resurrection. -
Thank you, thank you, a million times thank you. I'll show Comcast for getting rid of FSN in this area and depriving me of PSI III...

Exactly. In almost every final table I've seen Hoyt play at on TV, he's done the huge overbet in the small blind move at least once, usually with trash hands. And that's just what we see in the final edit. I'd imagine that wasn't the first time he did it in the tourney, and JDags knew that tens were the best hand, maybe by a lot as was the case. Can't remember if he did it at the TOC. Maybe he realized that he had a pattern and plugged the leak. Anyone remember if he made a similar move at that table?

Exactly. If you want to keep the 300BB in your roll for your limit at all times, then simply jump up as soon as you have the roll, then drop down once you hit 300BB for the previous level, rinse, repeat, tp, mm.

This is really sad. At least I got to hear him sing at the WSOP before he died.RIP
