Ok, so im pretty new to poker. Ive done alot of reading, and piddling around on a few poker sites (party, pacific and ub, so im not eligible for 1st deposit bonus at these sites). After playing on these sites and eventually losing the little bit of money that i put in, i decided that i wanted to build a bankroll and play within "bankroll management". Sounds to me like you have your "poker bankroll" and your "life savings" confused as one. They are 2 seperate things. Maybe it's just me, but your post is a little confusing.A poker bankroll has to be just that, for poker only. And it has to be an amount you are comfortable losing and still be able to pay your bills and living expenses. They could if they used delay like they do most live tv after the janet jackson ordeal. i personally would love to study how the pros play every hand and not just the hands the producers opt for us to see so they can squeeze it into the tv timeframe. Im sure a lot of it would be boring, but would be worth the price of admission IMHO.Even a delay would not work, as it would give insight as to how a player is playing during a tournament, before it was over. Having your stradegy broadcast, even with a 30 minute delay for example, would not be looked upon favorably by the players.Think before yo

I totally agree with this. Just say nh and move on. Doyle actually addresses this issue in SS2. Basically he just says, Why would you ever want to let a fish know they are a fish?? If you berate him or talk stratagy in front of him you are just letting him know that there is stratagy out there and he may go out and learn it. In which case you are taking the money right out of your own pocket.

Never discuss strategy in front of a fish. fish = bread and butter. If you let them know there is a strategy, he might go out and improve his game, thus taking food out of your mouth. Just say nice play, make your mental note and then use his weakness to your advantage when the time is right.
