  1. I agree that this isn't insta-shove here. For me it would really depend on my read on the villain and his stack size. Gotta take into account his range and what he thinks my range is.This whole situation pains me, but I think I might fold here, although I think I'd have to be in the situation to be sure.
  2. lol. I have the same problem most of the time.
  3. I have a hard time letting AK go usually but facing 3 raises I think you have to fold here. At best you're sharing the same hand. At worst you're facing AA or KK from at least one of them.
  4. Looks like you played it about right based on your stack and previous reads. The turn is odd, but maybe he was on a weak draw.
  5. Yeah, I agree. Don't check the turn. Maybe get him out of the hand or thing twice about representing the 6 on the river if he doesn't have it. Good fold though. Tough to do.
  6. The first season definitely has better songs. My favorite:
  7. I don't know about the raise all in here. I would just call here, or at most raise it to 3 or 4.
  8. I can't believe I'm saying this, but very funny.
  9. I'm sending all good thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Be well.
  10. I have to admit, every time I see AA in my hand I get both elated and think about folding. They can be traps. That being said, I would never fold them preflop.
  11. Never give up something you love for someone else. General life rule.
  12. Wow. That's not something I want stuck in my head.
  13. I would check here as well. Or bet a little lower and see if you can get him to commit. I would be careful about scaring him away a little fast.
  14. Bet the flop, for sure. However, even though villain folded on the shove, I still think it's the right move. Still, if you played this a little differently earlier, you could have gotten paid off without worrying about the villain's river decision as much.
  15. Is he reading anything on you that might make him think you're playing a little loose, and that he'd have a reason to call? Or was he just a donk that god smiled on?
  16. Just started posting here. Didn't realize there were b-ball threads on a poker site. It feels a little uncomfortable reading a Red Sox thread, kind of like sneaking into the girls locker room. Anyway, here goes: "There's no way that the sox are taking the Yanks in the postseason this year. And I'd take Tex over Youk, any day" (sometimes you gotta poke the bear)
  17. He's still got talent and some gas in the tank, from what I've seen on this coast. Not a bad pick-up. But we got Tex.
