  1. I was watching on Wednesday and one thing about the show genuinely pisses me off. (although I do love it and tune in every week)After every performance Randy always says the same thing: "Ehhhhh, I don't know dog, Geeeez, It was really just OK for me. A little too safe. I really didn't see anything that made me say 'wow'. A little pitchy. Definitely needs some work." (Audience Boos)A little pitchy. They're all a little too f*ckin pitchy. Say something new dude it's too repetitive. Then comes Paula. "You know, I like you, I think you're beautiful and you have a great voice. Maybe it wasn't
  2. Tough spot. I think you have to fold though. It's too early and you're not quite gettign the right price. You can def. look for a better opportunity later....Oh sorry I thought this was the strategy section. Hahaha dont rip me, I just felt like being an a**hole for no reason.
  3. Yeah even after I see the results I still like your play. If they both fold you increase your stack by 25% and take the chip lead. K 10 beats two random hands too. Timingly preflop aggression is the way to win these turbo's.
  4. This is the second level of a SNG, with all players still in, and blinds still low relative to stacks. If you ask any expert SNG player, (Scott Fischman, Cliff Josephy) They will tell you not to play hands like this. You should be looking for monsters, and small PPs to try and take people's whole stacks and win the tournament. (When I say small PPs, I mean you should trying to see a cheap flop and hit a set, Not get all your chips in pre-flop and race.) When the blinds hit 25-50 and one or two people are out, then I would say go ahead and play this hand and make that raise. But this early,
  5. Sorry I just realized that you meant for this to be a brag post. This would be the hold 'em equivalent of saying "I called a raise with 8 3 offsuit and flopped a fullhouse. Then I won a huge pot"
  6. How is best player ever not an option? He deserves to be cocky. No one traps the internet aggro donks better than he does.
  7. Your hand is not playable regardless of anyone else's upcards in any case. It made it even worse that you have a dead king, and that you called a completion. You got very lucky 1. To make a full house with your outs dead. 2. That someone made a worse full house and you got paid. 3. That no one made a low given that zippi and OOORIDE were probably both on draws that never got there.Fold for the bring in next time, let alone a raise. And Read Todd Brunson's section on Stud 8/b in Super System II. He will teach you how to play hands that have scoop potential. I only wish pullster posted in
  8. AHHHH look what I started!! Did I win the O/U bet yet?
  9. I like the reraise on the flop too. If the original raiser has something like JJ or TT, there are too many cards that could come to kill your action. (A, K, Q,) I think your going to get the most action by letting him put his chips in on this "safe" board.
  10. I'll take the under on five hours from now. I win you buy me into the 2009 main event. If you win, I'll give you some lessons on how to play small ball properly. Lol sound fair?
  11. In his latest blog, DN was talking about American Idol. He said "Is it wrong to say that the four black girls blew the other girls out of the water?" To answer your questio, Daniel, No. I was watching the show Wednesday night at my friends house, as the recap was going on, we were like, she was good, she sucked, sucked, good, etc. Then we we were like so basically to sum it up, all of the black girls were good, and all the white girls sucked. So in case anyone gets on your case about another racist remark, I'll just agree with you first.

  13. I think you have the best hand here.If you call the turn, planning to call the bet on the river, you might as well just make the bet yourself and go all in on the turn. That's a pretty standard rule.
  14. No I think he has Q 10. Tough fold to make, especially online, but you gotta do it.
  15. Ditto uncooper.Push on the turn, he's already got over half his stack in the pot.
  16. Call.Even if he hit some miracle flop you still have outs.
  17. Another dead on reply from acid knight.Move the second paragraph to the bad beat forum.
  18. This is one of those ones where I really just don't know what to say, or what I would do in your spot. I wish someone would say what he had. PM me if it is a mortal sin to post results.
  19. I don't think people give Matusow enough credit. He has a reputation as a bad boy and smack talker or whatever, but he does it jokingly and was nice to Paul and Jaime on High Stakes, and I think that's why people like to see him blow up and lose and take bad beats.Don't forget he made the final table of the World Series twice in five years, and finished in the top 100 in 2004. That's really saying something, and him and Hellmuth are the best at trapping the aggro internet donks for all their chips.
  20. shpaget just hates me and disagrees with everything I say. Post it in both.
  21. This play seems really fishy to me. Of the two hands you put him on, I think a missed draw is more likely than a weak king. I say this because going all in with a weak king would be foolish when you can just call and get a showdown. He should know that if he has something like K 9, he is only getting called if he is beat. This player seems to be the type that plays differently based on a strong understanding of the game, rather than just being retarted. I don't think a retard would have check raised the river. I'm thinking either 67 of hearts, (or something to that effect) or maybe he fl
  22. Yeah no pocket pair has you beat. You flop 2's full. Bet that. Turn 7's full of aces. I dont think anyone has the seven, they would have bet the flop so bet again. Quads on the river with no low possible. I wouldn't be worried about the seven. So in summation:Jam it on every street.
  23. Yeah, I'm going to put him on a hand like A J with the ace of diamonds. I think it's better to just call the raise and see what develops on turn. He might already have a set of fives though, in which case your way behind, instead of slightly ahead. No matter what I don't like shoving, rather proceding with caution and playing a small pot. When I play a big pot, for my whole stack, I like to be absolutely positive I have by far the best hand, and there's no way you can be sure of that here.
  24. I might give it a shot. You're only going to win the pot if you take a stab at it, and if he is a straightforward enough player to check-fold in this spot if he catches bad then it might be worth it. But if you have seen him check-call the river with something like a 9-8 or a 10 then it's probably -EV to be trying to bluff a calling station like that. This would be an easier decision in a live game I think, rather than online.
