  1. You're not being grouchy - just incoherent... Caught by whom? Caught for what? I know how to use torrents, and I'm pretty sure I do nothing different than the newbie using them for the first time. Please enlighten the forum as to the proper way to "use" torrents.
  2. Gus was a starter but he said he missed the bus so he turned up late and had to wait on the sidelines.===Sort of jumped out at me.... Interesting lineup.
  3. If you're under 30, have no dependants - full speed ahead and damn the torpedoes.
  4. Last chance to bet on the under @ Soldier field on a crappy-weather day... It's going to go up as Sunday comes closer!Consider this umop's lock of the week!Parlay your win gamblers!!!
  5. If you ever play in Edgewater, count me in (if I'm on the W. Coast again)... Aii-yah!Props to you guys on the West Coast - you've got us beat in Toronto when it comes to (legitamate, government run) casinos...
  6. Bring a tambourine = insta-tilt.
  7. 1 - poker players paid to play2 - side-bets made on the texture of the flopgoogle it - you deserve the sarcasm.
  8. I like the one where someone had K3, and raised. Then won. Make sure you put that one in there. Should be an interesting read.
  9. I think unconcealed weapons would do a better job in that respect than hidden ones.
  10. Detroit v Chicago - bet the Under (Detroit will be lucky to get 9, and there's a cold front moving in = rain!)Today's word is parlay!
  11. Nyquil + Pain Killers = bad poetry"I bring you love!"
  12. What about those who feel that posting the results before part 6 of the tournament report could be construed as anti-climactic?
  13. If you had a "God Cam" for a period of time - say 2 hours - would you use it to determine if Doyle Brunson was a cheat - or something a little less lame?
  14. The same place as taunting or insults do in any competitve activity... And poker tends to show a person's true character. Player "A" was either hoping to put his opponent on tilt - or he's just a wanker. If he kept it up, I'd question whether he helps your 'friendly' game.Woodbelly is a stupid name (I'm new at flaming - post an idiotic comment and I'll do my best to please).
  15. After reading the OP and his subsequent replies, all I can think of is thank god for online poker - how else can an obviously illiterate high-school dropout (or someone without muscle control in his hands at least) ever manage to amass $100k to have stolen from him... Hah - yes, more legislation is needed... Brilliant! How your revcan call should go:Press 1 for EnglishPress 0 for OperatorThem "Hello revenue canada, how can I direct your call?"You "I'd like to speak to your manager"Them "Certainly, may I ask why?"You "I'd like to speak to your manager"Them "Please wait, your call is important
  16. Next time don't start off by telling us you lost - always nice to have some drama as to if you finished in the money
  17. Closest thing you're going to find online is Robert's Rules - look it up on google. Most important rule in ANY B&M card room is the one where Management reserves the right to change any and all rules - and that their ruling is final.
  18. Cards would speak if he just turned them over infront of him... As for throwing them into the muck face-up, if you can differentiate between the 'mucked' cards, they should still be able to play (although I'm sure the ruling would change from casino to casino and dealer to dealer).
  19. The worst thing that could happen to you at 17 is winning this $50 tournament.
  20. If you wanted to cheat in online poker with multiple accounts, an easier way would be to get 3 or 4 trust-worthy friends in different cities/counties (or even in the same city as you, using a different ISP). Then, install a remote client on each of their computers, and access them from your computer (ie: PC Anywhere). Now you can multi-account from a single PC with different IPs for each account. Quick, simple and cheap way to cheat.
  21. Thanks for the reply. I'm looking to do #1, however I've gone to www.invision.com, and created an account to test out their sample board, and still cannot "paste" a picture I've copied... Maybe I'm reading you wrong - is the pasting of pictures (or even adding them to a message as an attachment) something I can permit if I run the board myself? If so, is there a specific company (apart from Invision) that I should be buying the hosting service from? Thanks again.
  22. Every town I've been in with a large (or multiple) casinos have had depressed areas very close.
