  1. Good day all,I will be in Halifax for business from 11/16 till 11/18 and I was wondering if anybody ever played at the Halifax Casino's Poker Room and what to expect? There are not much info on their website.Thank you.
  2. I like big butts, I cannot lie...ooops sorry, I'm watching Shrek with my 3 year old girl while reading this thread... John Lithgow is definitely the best, Eddie Murphy's a close second.
  3. I just thought she looked great that way that is why I posted the picture of her. Isabelle has style... not like a "baywatch" type girl.
  4. i send my kids to neteller for the weekends very safe place.Great idea! I have to talk to the wife tonight... we might have found a babysitter for this weekend.Does it take 24 to 72 hours to have them back once you do the withdraw?
  5. This is true and this is pretty much your answer. Badbeats result from bad players and/or badplay. If they would be playing correctly they would be folding, result: no badbeat. We have to comback to simple answers:You have a higher variance when you play against bad players or gamblers and therefore more badbeats whatever is the limit you play at.I just think that you have more new poker players and gamblers on big and well known sites. You have sometimes 40 000 players playing at the same time on PokerStars, how many of them do you think have ever read a poker book? a poker magazine? an int
  6. Best on-line 7-card Stud room is PokerStars, imo.p.s. sorry for the straight answer!
  7. Now that is sarcasm! Very funny.
  8. I don't remember if it is Scott Fisherman who said that but a pro once said about multi-tabling on-line poker that you only go with odds and positions when playing 3 and more tables. Yes, you are missing out on some infos on other players but maths and odds will bring you more money long term than playing only one and getting infos. Basically he said, that you will win less money per table than playing only one at a time but the total amount of multi-tables will be greater than the amount of the one-table play. And of course, he was talking about limit hold'em.
  9. What sports can we bet on the site?mlb?nhl?nba? You can bet on all sports. American ones and European ones. If I remember correctly, when you create your username at first, they will ask you for your language. If you choose UK English, your default page on the site will be mostly with European sports, if you choose US English, your home page will mostly show you odds for American sports. Either way, you have the possibility to bet on any sports.
  10. Good day all,Bet365 is a good poker site with excellent traffic and if you like sports betting you'll get everything under the same roof. They are a very well known and respected on-line sports betting site. Bet365 and The Gaming Club share the same pool of players (and tourneys) . They are mostly Europeans. I have no clue though where you can get a refferal for code. If you need to use a player name as a referral, please use mine, badbeatbou. As for Pokerplex, I saw the ad in CardPlayer magazine but I never played there. You might find a referral code for them in the magazine.
  11. Wow...i think I may have to go totally against what ur saying...I think the blackhawks jersey is one the best in the league.I agree, the white one is awesome.
  12. Am I reading this correctly, Habs jersey one of the worst????????? The red jersey is one of the most recognize sports jersey in the world. Go play ping pong.
  13. I think Montréal and Toronto just missed a huge opportunity with André Roy who is in my own opinion the best power forward/fighter/trouble maker in the NHL. Pittsburgh just signed him, great move to protect Crosby.
  14. That's so ridiculous. Toronto has so much more passion in hockey then you give credit. You probably have never even been to Toronto and base your comments soley on the all mighty television. The reason why you see suits in the lower bowl because the "real fans" simply can't afford to go. You have no idea how hard it is to get tickets to a leaf game at a fair price. I usually have to just wait until my rich friend can't go to his season tickets and passes a pair over to me. If the leafs were to win another cup (ever?) the city would literally crumble to pieces. We had the same problems with
  15. Oh man, how badly do I want to flame this guy...For the record, most of us don't say anything related to the particular statements you accused us of above. I am completely realistic that we won't win a cup for the next 5 years, but you must agree that the passion of Leaf fans continues to be strong. Sometimes we take over the Bell Center too What can I say... you are the Team I love to hate! Since the Nordiques left Québec City, we, Habs fans, had to turn around and find another small brother to slap behind the head once in a while... just for fun  You are right, great fans and passion
  16. Go Habs Go... Montréal, simply the best hockey town.p.s. Leafs fans... please do not embarass yourself by responding that Toronto is the best hockey town, you are not even a hockey town. And yes we know, you will win the Stanley Cup this year, you have been saying that since 1968.
  17. Sports betting... mostly golf... damn you Mickelson! Only time I bet against him, he wins the Masters! In poker, on-line MTTs with buy-ins between $10 to $50... just unable to finish in the top 10.
  18. The Habs came so close to win that lottery... I am still crying!
  19. Sorry... I have not read all the pages so I do not know if this one already came up but a good one happened to me this weekend online. After I got beat by runner, runner my opponent said the stupidest thing I have ever heard on a poker table, he said:"finally, he (talking about me) was due to have some bad luck"  I did not say anything... it was priceless.
  20. Mostly when you wake up with them!
  21. Good day all,I like the discussion about the integrity of poker (I like to read Roy Cooke's commentaries in CardPlayer magazine). When something gets a boom of popularity as poker has right now, there is always I think that phase where things that have been around and accepted by most since the beginning of the game (and gambling) is not anymore.Baseball was the same with the White Sox scandal. Throwing games away was part of baseball for years but suddenly it was condemned because the sport itself was becoming so big and followed by journalism (like today poker is with internet forums, tele
  22. I agree 100%. People like to make fun at people who play badly. Always talking about their better "strategy"... well, bottom line is that it is bad stategy to tell someone how bad they play, or how many outs they had... What? You want them to read a poker book? You want them to learn about implied odds? Let them catch a few inside straights or even one or two good nights but keep their names in your back pocket because they will eventually run out of luck. Most importantly I think is that it is important that these players win once in a while. When they do, they think they understand th
