  1. Hehe, that's as much of a blowup as you'll ever see by Antonius, I think. :)Welcome!
  2. I'm not sure that's a good thing (for me).
  3. Here's your problem. But yeah, that has happened to me too, it was never that bad though. The worst disconnect I ever had was when I got AA on two 2/4 LHE tables at the same time and when I reconnected (after the hand was over) I saw in the hand history, that in both hands, the pot was >15BB even without my participation (except preflop in one hand) and I would have won both. I almost smashed my stupid w-lan router...
  4. Yeah, football is a game that has to be watched live in the stadium where it takes place, imo - I seldom watch any games on tv. But you also picked a very "hot" game there...
  5. And the next least popular of the professional team sports in the US after "soccer".
  6. No, but it's not nearly as profitable if you play strictly tournaments because you produce much less rake.
  7. lol, what a jerk/idiot/moron/germanit's a ****ing $2 s&g...
  8. Well, that's a question of principle again that has really been discussed ad nauseam here. In my experience the majority of dealers is friendly, outgoing and competent. And they have take so much **** from some morons at the table (probably more than other people working in service businesses) that they deserve every dollar they get. In my opinion poker dealers have every right to complain as much as they want...
  9. alright, you're welcome.
  10. Go to -> preferences -> databases -> Hold'em/Omaha (whatever you are playing) and select the PT-database you want to use.I don't think PAHUD can use two different databases simultaneously.
  11. I don't completely agree with your reasoning, but the only thing I can say is, that you put more thought into that hand than 99% of 4.40 players have ever thought about poker in their lifetime, so props to your read and laydown.
  12. ^^^Haha, I love that,Mark: "Brandon, I got a hand"Norman Chad: "Well, it's something apporaching a hand"
  13. To be honest, his books aren't half bad though - solid advice for beginning/intermediate players.
  14. A classic Tony G moment belongs in this thread as well. I guess, -> this one is as good/bad as it gets... ;-)
  15. Goldberg probably is a good player and not just lucky and he didn't even show any stupid tv-poker antics.
  16. ^^^lol, I've seen this guy play in the local card room, I had no idea he's actually rich (and maybe even a good player) instead of just a degenerate kid who luckboxed the Sunday Million and then started blowing his money on PLO live games.
  17. Yeah, he seemed like an idiotic luckbox, there were several hands he played absolutely terrible at the FT. But I knew he was a lucky donk immediately after his short video-clip were he proudly said that he took 3rd place in the first tournament he played and that he learned poker by watching WPT...
  18. If everyone tips after winning a hand a good dealer makes more money than a bad dealer (provided they don't share the tips) - so that should be enough. Also, tipping more or less the same way the others do is good for your table image, or do you want to be viewed as a nitty jerk by the other players?
  19. I'll nominate Sheiky after he saw the flop of that hand he folded at the '05 WSOP:
  20. And that's the only reasonable thing that poins towards calling here.No offense to OP, but this seems more like a brag-post than one suited for strategy discussion. You made the call and he was bluffing - good for you. But what else is there to talk about in this hand?
  21. I'd feel more comfortable betting the turn than calling the river. Tough spot, but it probably is a very good call if you can get yourself to make it (I'd give him credit for beating second pair, but I'm a wuss)
