I guess I'll go with.......this is the beauty of the protege contest. it honestly should create a winner that is a very good tournament player, and one also that is on a month or two long rush of playing well, and the protege's confidence and game should be on point when they enter the program. the protege will most likely be going into the 4 tourny adventure on a bigger winning streak than daniel and even some other pro's. confidence can be huge in this sometimes cruel game. the more i think about it, i could even see the protege being a favorite, even as much as 70/30 to outperform daniel in this trip, especially if daniel is not playing his A+ game, which is not a given for anyone.
