ya, i agree with u...i dont know y he seemed so shocked?
Well we don't know who the protege is going to be first of all. How could this possibly turn into any kind of meaningful discussion. So it's basically, "Who's going to win more Daniel or random FCP'er?" I guess I'll go with.......

Well, I plan on cashing in 2 out of the 4 tournies and final tabling one of them. I guess it will all come down to whether or not DN can keep up......
i agree.

Well, since we know I am the best tournament player on FCP, and I can't be the protege, anyone who wins it will be worse than me, and therefore will not cash in any of them.(sw), gl protege winner.

its really not a meaningless discussion...i actually think this was a good idea by the OP...whoever wins the protege contest is obviously going to have skills...

If I was old enough to win the protege i would pick me, but my next pick was Zim, and he's as young as me. so now I think i'll go with redpill. Definately redpill.
You are 17 and live in Orlando too? What high school do you go to

this is the beauty of the protege contest. it honestly should create a winner that is a very good tournament player, and one also that is on a month or two long rush of playing well, and the protege's confidence and game should be on point when they enter the program. the protege will most likely be going into the 4 tourny adventure on a bigger winning streak than daniel and even some other pro's. confidence can be huge in this sometimes cruel game. the more i think about it, i could even see the protege being a favorite, even as much as 70/30 to outperform daniel in this trip, especially if daniel is not playing his A+ game, which is not a given for anyone.
