400k you say. Would that be GBP? How can anyone in the British empire not believe in your skills by now? Ram must have turned over a rock and found some Johnny Appleseed who'd been asleep for the last 20 years of your reign and happened to have a coffee can with him where he was hoarding his last 400,000. What a sucker. I'll bet he's not sleeping much these days.If anyone decides to take him up on his fight offer, please let me know. I'd be interested in setting up a closed-circuit PPV. UFC? Not anymore my friends. Illegal British bare-knuckle boxing. Taking the States by storm in one month's time.

It is quite obviously cheating, but you're right, Ivey is certainly no golfer.
there is no such thing as an honest handicap. a handicap is an approximation and open for debate. Ram was negotiating his handicap up front. thats how it works. he simply lost the negotiation. he was hustled. not cheated. for an example casinos are hustlers, the best hustlers in the world but they are not cheaters. they offer you a bad deal, but they keep the terms of that deal.

Is it just me, or are most posters who are siding with Ram recently registered users with very few posts..? The most blunt example is probably SwedishAnna who simply registered and randomly quoted posts and gave the same prepared reply. I'm sure that if you look for it, you can find it on several forums.

He didn't lose the negotiations, when asked specific questions in order to attain a stroke difference for that day, Ivey lied, ergo he has cheated. Simple really.

Not cheated...hustled. Quite different. If Ram had been astute about his game and Ivey's he would have relaized something was up, instead he kept pushing his luck (just like every sucker does) and lost a bundle. Now he is whining about it when the truth of the matter is he got punk'd.

and from these two comments, I can only assume you have never been near a golf course in your life :club:
once again and you just dont seem to get it...THIS IS NOT GOLF. It's gambling. It's betting. It's props. Golf is merely the vehicle used. Everything, including the rules must be negotiated beforehand. Ram clearly lost that negotiation but that's part of the game (and once again, no not the game of golf. GOLF GAMBLING).

Dress it up in any language you want, the only reason are trying to justify Ivey's cheating is entirely because of who he is, if he wasn't a top poker pro, there would be no arguement here.

Bro, i could care less about Ivey or anything to do with justifying his actions. i just think ram is a whinny little baby and is trying to dodge paying. Quite simply he lost...after he agreed to the bets.....and now he won't pay. Hmmmm, isn't that cheating?

Like I say, despite ignoring what I refered to in your previous post about handicaps, and I assume as you ignored the question I was right, the term for betting Golf Gambling, whatever that is (I take it you read Blair Rodman's post on LVA to come up with the term?) is not what these guys had historically played.Ivey has cheated

Wasn't me who brought up the length of time some have been here. You don't have to post to read a forum, so why this was brought up in the first place is beyond me? I've been here over 2 years, what has 12 posts got to do with the arguement?

They were playing GOLF and had a side bet, okay the side bets are beyond our comprehension, but that's what they are none the less.

Again from earlier, you failed to answer my question, in fact answered a question I didn't ask. I am I right to assume you do not under stand golf handicaps from the following?
