lunarphase 0 Posted April 21, 2007 Share Posted April 21, 2007 I went last nite at midnite when my shift ended since my job is half an hour closer to foxwoods I've had a craving to play some video poker for awhile. I anticipated spending $100 and be there for 2 hours max. I spent $40 on my machine and left my best hand being a fh which didn't pay well. I went looking for another machine but instead hit a BJ table where it was $25 a hand I bought in for $50 and won my first 2 hands I almost left than lol figuring I actually made money and I didn't feel comfy spending so much on one hand well I did stay for another hand which I lost but I won the next hand than left making a whopping $10 on the nite thus going 3-1 at that table. I was wondering should I have stayed at that table hit some machines or should I have left like I did it was getting late and I was only gonna stay for another half hour if that Link to post Share on other sites

Seriously, I saw him do it! Well, one night, he took me to a casino, shoved money in my hand and basically ordered me to play blackjack and the slots. Guess he was sick of me being a tiresome nit nattering on about strategy, who knows. LOL Since I'm about as pathological a tightwad as he is a gambler (the psychopathy gene we inherited must have different alleles, heh) and we're both equally stubborn, there's no way in hell that was going to happen, even if the money wasn't mine. So all night long I created the "illusion of action" by wandering around, railing blackjack tables, knocking back the free diet cokes, grinding it out on a penny slot machine, etc. Every time my brother passed--beer in hand, of course--he tossed me more chips...when he wasn't looking, I immediately sneaked off and cashed every last one if them in. At the end of the night when we met up again, he was like "so how'd you do?" I smiled and fanned out all the money he'd given me. He grinned back, high-fived me and shouted "ALL RIGHT!!!"So that's my winning strategy for blackjack and slots. Link to post Share on other sites
