what I dont get is you here all this talk about how phil ivey is so good and mike matusow is so bad. in my opinion there are people who are just luckier than others, and those who are unluckier. take for instance, I can recount a few hands where MM made a great read, got all his money in and loses to a gut shot. phil ivey on the other hand can not possible lose when he flops a set vs a straight or a flush. he almost always seems to get there. I feel a bit like MM. sure I have won my fair share of tournaments, I would elaborate but the barrages of "Brag post" would be to much for me to handle at this point. it seems like whenvever I make a great read or call when Im ahead, some crazy combination of turn and river come and I lose the pot. I mean it seems to happen moreso on pokerstars. what I dont get is, I went from being a winning player on Bdog at the $35 sngs, yet I cant win a $6 sng to save my life on pokerstars. always the same result, some idiot cant get away from A9 on an A K 5 flop and my AQ or 55 goes down in flames. oh yeah BBFIDTS, had to beat you smart asses to it. anyways I just wanted to hear some of yalls comments, because I know there are some great players on here who do well and I would like to know, what you are doing different, because all I can do is get my money in good and lately that isnt enough. the only way I win pots is to take em down before the river

haha, the other day to let off some steam i emailed pokerstars asking them turn turn of the **** me switch. then i quit for the night. got up the next day and the first $6 sng i played i won. so i believe there is something to the myth about the doom switch. all you have to do is ask them to turn it off.

#1-Paragraphs and other forms of proper English are your friend.#2-In the long run, there's no such thing as somebody luckier than another. After many, many years of playing everyone has the same probability of their 60/40, etc. hands holding up. That is true whether you choose to admit it or not.

Im pretty sure that Phil Ivey has taken some bad beats in his life. Its rediculous to say that some people are just alot luckier than others, because in the long run its not true. Ive lost alot of money at times and gone through streaks of horrible luck too, but atleast im willing to admit that my loses were partially my fault (bankroll management, etc.) instead of blaming it completely on bad luck, online poker conspiracies, or whatever the **** else.

AH!FT dosn't have a green deckI'm fucked
on page 132 from the book, "Defeating the doom switch" by Krieger:"...in the event that a green deck cannot be used, it becomes profitable to switch your avatar to one of "the good colors"(green, violet, blue, or tie-die) to combat the doom switch."so maybe try the frog?

This is true, in the long run.. luck doesn't mean a thing in poker.

You're not implying that after 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 50/50 situations everyone will have won half of them right?Having the same "probability" and the same results are two totally different things.****************I like how the OP tried to pretend the post had anything to do with anything except whining about getting sucked out on.

I would say that after that many trials, it will be within .1 percent of what it is supposed to be over 99% of the time. Now someone that has the ability to back up my unresearched claim please do so.
