Webslayer 0
Anyone know the buy ins for the daily tournaments at windsor?additonal info welcome..tyI don't happen to know off hand. But I have a card for the poker room sitting here on my desk. If you'd like you can call and ask. Casino Windsor Poker Place: 1 800 991 7777 Ext. 22969. The card may be old and the number could have since changed. So if it is wrong, Apologies.
Wandigo 1
I think on Tuesdays and Thursdays the tournament is $60. Mondays and Wednesdays was $100 and Fridays was $500? Correct me if I'm wrong but it's something like this, unless they recently changed it.
ukwildcat09 0
500? How many people do they draw for that? Also, this might be a stupid question, but what currency do they use at the poker table?

They have a max because of the limited number of tables for tourneys, so it's first come first serve in the morning, you can't call ahead and reserve a seat. They use canadian currency at the tables. ukwildcat09 0
So a 2/5, 200 buy-in would really be Canadian? That's only like $150 American right?

Correct me if I'm wrong but it's something like this, unless they recently changed it.The 500 is only on the last friday of every month. They have sit and go's running daily, with horrible structure. Merlopj 0
current exchange rate: $100 USD = $116.50 CDNfrom http://www.casinowindsor.com/CasinoInfo/Te...dConditions.aspAge Disclaimer Ontario law prohibits anyone under the age of 19 from entering casino gaming establishments. Individuals who appear to be under 30 years of age will be asked to provide government-issued photo identification. Two pieces of identification will be required from those individuals 19 to 21 years of age. Provincial and local law enforcement officials aggressively prosecute violators, including anyone attempting to use false identification. I'll probably be there Saturday night after the ballet. I'm still on the fence about sitting in the 1/2 NL game tho, considering I don't want to ditch my friends, but maybe I'll wait until they drink themselves under the table and head over for a 2am - 6am session... Worm109 0
Ive made 2 trips to windsor, once playing 1-2 nl and the other playing 3-6 limit....the 1-2 play is absolutely awful on friday and saturday nights...its basically a crapshoot because nobody folds...3-6 is the same, if not worse....if you want a better game dont go and play until midnight or later, because there is a ton of money on the table and its easier to play solid and win...i havent played the higher limits but id imagine it becomes less of a donkfest with the higher you go

That is some right smart poker, sir!
