Villain doesn't have to have A high or better here.
In a 3 bet pot I don't think that is a good card at all to double barrel. It changes nothing. Hero is going to have a pair a large majority of the time and we all know you HU donks don't fold pairs ever on boards like this.

Yeh, I just assumed his air, would likely be a A-x hand though because of the 3bet pre - in which case I don't think the turn is a good card to fire a 2nd shot at, as i changes nothing really

I would double barrel that card against float monkeys and bad flop stations if I 3-bet with JTs or something. So many guys will float dry flops like that, at least the monkeys I play, with any overs, sometimes just ace high, king high, etc. Tons of those hands fold to a bet here.I realize we have no reads, but he doesn't have a read on us either, so he could think we're just another random wannabe good poker player who knows how to float, but can fold to more pressure.

Wow, I am really amazed that Stars still hasn't fixed their lag problem. Been over a month I think at least.
Hey is it for cash games too? I was thinking of playing a sess but if it's slow forget it

Hey, all. Just wondering if someone could clarify a ruling for me that came up during a donkament I was playing at the casino today. I'd ask in the Tourney Challenge but... yeah, it scares me.I check/call the river, and the guy shows a flush. I muck, and then he requests to see my cards and the (non-house) dealer flips over my hand. A little debate arises about if he can do that. I just stay quiet and ask to get on with it, but I was under the impression I can just muck. The guy who won the pot said something about it being HeadsUp, but I didn't get what he was getting at...Ftr, I got KOd the tournament when I called someone's shove with KK on J78. He flips AT and binks an A on the river. lol donkaments, eh?Also, my mate bubbled. Said bubble went on for literally an hour and a half!! Was insane, and people were not impressed:)

The hand was shown down so anyone at the table can request to see both hands. Kind of a shitty thing to do, but legal.
Unless the cards were already in the muck... if they were, they generally need a good reason (ie serious consideration of collusion) to try to pull them out and identify them.In general though, if you call a bet on the river, anyone at the table can ask to see your cards. It follows the same standard that online poker has for showing mucked cards in their hand histories.

just wanted to thank Bull for a post he made about a week ago .. I'm too lazy to find it .. but it was about c-betting less against bad opponents. I know it seems obvious, but I was trying to blast donks off hands by 1 and 2 barrelling them ...I'm currently playing 20NL on Cake btw ..Since I changed things around .. my cbet % has gone from 76% to 51% .. im running under EV, and i've taken 10BI out of my last 2000 hands. The main thing thats changed, is that I'm not leaking money in pots where I don't have any piece of the board ... If anyone is interested I can post the stats etc from HEM.I went on a -10BI run then reading Bulls comments and changing it up a bit .. ive gone on a +10BI run ...

I thought you were talking to me then, and was mystified as to why you'd ask me about LHE*.Though I do have some pretty solid advice for you, as it happens:Don't play it.* Also known as LOLZMINBETPOKERZ:)

I'm not trying to be Debbie Downer or anything since I don't really know what stats are good and what aren't at 6max, but be careful using 8,000 hands total as a sample size for really anything, but especially results.

Definitely true but that C-Bet % was waaaaay too high.

I don't agree with this. You say you began to c-bet less, but in doing that it becomes clear that you're thinking about situations a lot more, and adjusting your plays on a lot of factors. Whilst they are all a factor in choosing when to continuation bet, it is your overall game that has improved, and subsequently your results.

This had reminded me - I meant to reply to Bull actually, but forgotWas it more, co-ordinated boards that you've not connected with, that you've cut down on Bull, or other things too? Got any examples?

interesting .. i probably am thinking a fair bit more about where i am at in hands rather than blindly barrelling away ... good point Zach

Is 76% c-bet really way too high? I run higher than that with decent results. Maybe its different cause I play like 5/6 of my hands at FR. Later when I'm done playing ill filter some of my results and see if its a leak though anyways.
