SBriand 4
I know the feeling. We get Cleary and Hank back and then Homer goes down for 4 weeks with a broken foot that was injured during Wednesday's practice.
mcpickl 0
Knee problems...does not sound good. This has "surgery" and "extended rehab period" written all over it.Partially torn MCL for Savard.Out 3-4 weeks, no surgery.
mrdannyg 274
Whew, not too terrible. Will be back in time for the Olympics. Oh...wait...How is something partially torn? Is it torn or not?

troyomac 0
Bump. Bruins have been looking great the past 4 games. Each game has been a playoff game basically, and even though we lost to TB, we outshot them 50-18. Also the puck has finally started going in for us! Some tough games coming up, and we're not in yet, but I'm hoping we can keep playing strong and move up out of 8th. GO TEAM!Also, new avatar for the playoff push!<---------------------------------
mrdannyg 274
Goddamn shit. My opponent in my work pool has Thomas. If Thomas didn't start today, he doesn't meet the goalie minimum, and I win. Now, I'll need an f'ing miracle.
troyomac 0
Meh, that 1 point we got tonight was huge. Now we just need to win 1 of our last 3 and we're probably in. Come on B's, you're playing well!

troyomac 0
Savard skated today for the first time. Not sure if there's any timeline for him to return (should Boston advance), but it's a good sign anyway.
troyomac 0
BOOOOOOM! What a great game that was too watch. The 3rd period was crazy exciting. Recchi with a BEAUTY hit and pass to set up Bergeron for the game winner, then Rask making all the big saves to hold on for the win! SO FREAKING PUMPED RIGHT NOW!!!
rinswun 6
highlight of the game was for sure boychuk destroying ellis with a good old fashioned clean hit, best hit in the playoffs this year for sure.sobotka played a pretty strong game as well, they need to give that kid more opportunity. Kid is on the best playing line for the B's, plus with Bergeron and Krejci it's not about just slotting him ahead of these guys.

gruven 530
The Boston Bruins may be the team with the best future in the NHL...-This year, they make the second round of the playoffs despite not having their best forward in the lineup-They have a HUGE blue chip stud young goaltender in Tukka Rask, who may be the best goalie in the NHL in 3 years.-They have a stud defenseman in Chara with a few good years left to go yet-They have some great young talent in Lucic, Wheeler, Krejci et all...-They have a legit scorer in Savard-They have two first round picks this year and two first round picks next year including the second overall this year. It's a good time to be a Bruins fan... RAY..

serge 904
Go Bruins...I am cheering for the B's for more reasons than one..I think best chance to beat the Pens is the Bruins facing them...Main reason though is they play at the TD Garden.
