serge 904
Its getting annoying to read all the threads about internet players....People seem to think that just because you are an internet player you are a donk...This is way off...People perceive that just because a player is on tv they are a pro making lots of money and are GOOD poker players...This is not right at all....There are tons of INTERNET players that most have not heard of that are WAY better players than the TV players that people idolize...An internet player can play as many hands as a TJ Cloutier or a Dan Harrington s career amount of hands in a few short years....A lot of these tv players are backed and or broke..However its not uncommon to see these young internet players with million dollar bankrolls...And to beat a field of 8700 players you have to know the game well...No matter how lucky you are you cant win the Main Event without a strong concept of the game..FLAME ON

mrdannyg 274
I think you're preaching to the choir here. When I step into a casino, the first thing I look for is other internet players, since they are almost certainly better players than the casino regulars.

Highlow16 0
From watching High Stakes I feel like Eli is a bit of a donkey. Atleast at NL holdem, I cant speak for the other games. Seems like he takes forever sometimes to make what are otherwise easy decisions. Hes just a rich guy who plays high limits and is ok. I wouldnt fear him at my table at all. And no, i havent won a world poker tour event....see, im fending off flames before they get here with my fire retardent post.

Scott3705 0
I personally find it a little strange how TV Pros type casted Internet players one way after the money-maker boom (generally calling stations that can't fold a hand) and then type cast them completely different this year (wreckless Luckboxes that are willing to reraise w/ any 2.) Yet, both were supposedly "weak" yet it seemed like the pros were having a really hard time dealing w/ internet players this year. Don't know... just my thoughts. The ME may have been different, but I wonder what Daniel thought was so bad about the players in the ME and the other events as well.
offset 0
All the new players in the big events come from internet satellites. Most new players are donks. They are not exceptions.

Yes, he mixes it up alot (probably too much) with speculative hands which is hard to play against but i just dont see enough talent in him where he is cappable of playing that way. Maybe he plays differently when cameras arent rolling, who knows.

However, when they are off I play like crap.note: the cameras have never actually been on me.

I mean, geeze, youve probably seen ONE WPT even he won a few years back and that was a TOURNAMENT strucuture, and then you saw him play like what, 5 hands on HSP? WOW! You guys have him down, he must suck, even though he ihas been playing the BIG GAME for many many years now. Hmmm...seems like you got him down though, go challenge him heads up! But they are hardly reliable, he probably treats that game as a fun low-stake game. [that last statement is some what produced sarcasticaly.] We may never know but there was nothing wrong with your critic at least it wasn't like the one on Nose Job Iranian.
