This whole situation like Daniel said is gonna be so bad for poker. I love how its all the has been poker players with this lawsuit(besides Ferguson) They might as well have Moneymaker represent them, as well as Varkoni. Throw in the late great Johhny C and thats one hell of a legal team.

I didnt know you had to win a poker tourney every year to not be called a has-been. It's possible to have an off year you know, and its tough to be as exposed when you dont play the WPT events. Just a note before you start callin em hasbeens.

Bloch finished 2nd in the 50k HORSE event to Chip Reese and had 2 early fts in wpt season 1 and 2. He is in my opinion a definite top tier player, although he does get a little crazy sometimes. I've heard that he's always had a problem with the wpt release form, so of all the people in the seven I respect him the most even if he is a bit crazy. He is similar to DN in a way, always speaks his mind and gives his opinion, albeit a very different one from daniel. Of the 7, even though he's the most "low profile", he is the one guy I believe would never back down from this case, no matter what he's threatened with. This isn't saying I agree with his opinions on the matter, but I do respect him the most out of the seven players in the suit.

It's not only about the marketing value that you have right now...let's say Alan Cunningham goes on to win the main event. He was at a WPT final table before and thus signed the release. Now his marketing value (which is pretty low right now) shoots up 1000x and he can't sign an exclusive contract with a company cause the WPT already has his "likeness" locked up (in perptuity and throughout the universe). How would you feel about giving up an extra 5 mill or so then? The release is as retarded as Baseball's "Reserve Clause" was and has to be challenged PeriodI'm really surprised Daniel is even allowed to sign this thing with all the deals he has going...must have a good agent.

The amount of Negreanu ball licking that I've seen by posters on this message board flat out sickens me. I have no real strong opinion on this lawsuit right now, and nothing personal tied up in it at all. I'm a fan of players on both sides and it makes me sick to see people trashing one side or the other without a well reasoned argument. Quit making personal comments about people. Thanks.
