I think I remember reading the story when it originally "aired" can you provide a link to the thread?
Original link:http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...=102753&hl=Here's a second request for info that has more details, I think, since flashes of what happened came back to me after a period of time. Waaaaay too drunk at the beginning to remember everything.http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...rial&st=20#There's also a post from the dude who I sucked out on in my first hand at the IP that night.http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...t&p=2048118

I can't believe I read the whole thread bofore I looked at the date.Stayed there in Feb and it was ok. When is it getting blowed up ?
Probably sometime in late '08 or 2009. Depends on how long it takes Harrah's to figure out their master plan for their Bally's/Flamingo/Harrah's conversion. They also own Bill's Gambling Hall in between there, so basically the entire two blocks there. They'll eventually build something to compete with CityCenter by MGMMirage.

You have to go sit drunk at the 1/2 game again before it goes.

Lol.Not the first time recently I forgot what year or Month it is....so it would have been pretty difficult for a Zach @ IP reference in this Thread.

:club: Stayed there one night last year. It's a mega-dump but I think we paid $60 for our upgraded room (the Luv A Dub room for two guys lol).I am sad to hear it's being imploded but all good things come to an end. A couple of weeks ago the Frontier was leveled and that's where we spent most of our time (dancing at Gilleys - awesome time).

I am not sure they are going to tear it down after all, because I was just through there, and they actually did a bunch of renovations from over a few years ago. Actually semi-decent in there now. Except for those silly Dealertainers.

I'd bet a lot of money they tear it down in the next 5 years. Harrahs bought up all the surrounding land, and they'll be expanding the Flamingo or something like that. Something to try to compete with the CityCentre resort.http://vegastodayandtomorrow.com/ is a great site for this type of stuff.
