SCYUKON 0
Brian made another big mistake. He's down to 500,000.Clint Baskin takes a huge potClint Baskin limped from the button, Brian Fidler made it 18k more, and Baskin called. The flop came [6♠][4♦][2♥], Fidler bet 45k, Baskin called, and the turn came [2♠]. Fidler bet 80k, Baskin called, and the river came [8♣]. Fidler bet 120k, and Baskin called. The players showed:Brian Fidler [A♠][6♦]Clint Baskin [Q♥][2♣]Geez DN stop with the negative comments - what is the mistake betting 2nd top pair when Baskin Robbins decided to chase with bottom pair (in the face of a stiff post flop bet from Fids) and just got lucky? The real mistake in that hand is Baskin just calling the river bet with trips.
Wandigo 1
Fidler builds back his stackClint Baskin limped in from the button and Brian Fidler checked his option. The flop came [J♥][2♥][2♠] and both players checked. The turn came [10♣] and Fidler bet 15k. Baskin raised to 55k and Fidler called. The river came [5♠] and Fidler checked to Baskin who bet 75k. Fidler called and Baskin showed [Q] high. Fidler turned up [J][2] for two pair to take the pot.Either played the full house very carefully or it's a typo..

CodyHartman 0
that pot really hurt (opponent had trip dueces), but with the blinds at 5/10k he still has some playing room.
JaoTi 0
I wish there was a break now. He's making one key technical error.I think somebody was asking is they could talk in-between hands. I think that answers it.

Ilduce4747 0
I vote typo...Ya, theres no way DN would be proud of Fid just calling there, and no one calls w/ a full house there.
Wandigo 1
I think somebody was asking is they could talk in-between hands. I think that answers it.I think you can get up any time and talk to someone else, but only if you're not in a hand. And since they're heads-up, there's not really any time for Brian to put the game on hold so he can run over and get advice.

That's the problem.
blakheart 3
Brian Fidler recoups some of his losses. Clint limped from the button and Brian check his option. The flop came the Jh 2h 2s. Checked. The turn came the Tc. Brian bet 15K and Clint took it up a notch to 55K. Brian called. The river came the 5s. Brian checked to Clint who bet 75K. Brian made the call. Clint turned over a Q hight and Brian showed two pair with the J 3.Yeah- TypoBTW that is a nice call

That's the problem. ok - the river bet was a clear mistake, but the bet on the turn still had merit, imho.So if you have top pair after the flop heads up (with an ace kicker to boot), and someone calls an almost pot sized bet on you, you give up and decide you are beat??? That seems weak to me.And why did Baskins not raise Fids bet on the river?

SCYUKON 0
Please re-read my post. Nothing wrong about turn bet, but when you are called, I check on river. We are in agreement then, for the most part. He only bet 120k when he was probably behind.Back in action. I wish there was a break now. He's making one key technical error.I bet the key technical mistake is making continuation bets of 40k into a 50k pot. Harrington would recommend continuation bets of 25 k, so only have to win 1 out of 3 times to break even. Time will tell if that is the error.Any other guesses?
Wandigo 1
Clint Baskin forges aheadClint Baskin limped from the button, Brian Fidler raised to 40k from the big blind, and Baskin called. The flop came [A♥][Q♦][6♠], Fidler bet 50k, and Baskin called. The turn came the [6♣], Fidler bet 100k, and Baskin reraised to 300k. Fidler folded with 300k left.ugh.. not looking good.
