Mike Sexton Chris "Jesus" Ferguson Scott Fischman Antonio EsfandiariJohn Juanda T.J. Cloutier Lyle Berman Phil Hellmuth Well, my pick from the start (antonio) is still alive, and I guess I underestimated TJ and Mike Sexton.

No one is saying that the Juanda- TJ match isn't going to be a good one, but Juanda has been one of the top 3 players over the last two years. I know TJ is also one of the best, but Juanda has just been too good as of late.

Well, IMO JJ is probably the favorite from here on out (which right now he probably should be in every tournament), but there is no way TJ Cloutier should be the longest shot on the board. If he gets past JJ, there is no one out there you would say would be more than a slight favorite. Sexton should probably be the biggest dog, but noone should be less than 5-1 or more than 11-1.

update: 2005-03-06 19:46:00 Title: Antonio Esfandiari v. Scott Fischman: Antonio Advances to Round 5 Log: Round 5 has been developing rather slowly, as there haven't been many large pots or all in bets yet. Until a flop of Q-8-3 had Scott Fischman pushing all in against Antonio Esfandiari. Antonio thought a while before calling, saying if he folded it would be one of the biggest laydowns ever. Once he called, the players had to wait for the cameras to show up before they could reveal their hole cards. When asked how he felt about the hand, Scott Fischman said, "I'd happily trade my cards for his." Antonio revealed A-J, which game him no pairs and no draws, but Fischman was in even worse shape with A-4. The turn card paired the board with another queen, giving Fischman hope. If the board made two pair, their ace kickers would chop, and a 4 would win the hand for Fischman. The river brought a 10, and Scott Fischman was eliminated, earning $75,000. Antonio Esfandiari advances to Round 5, where he will face the winner of the Lyle Berman/Phil Hellmuth match. http://www.cardplayer.com/tournament-log/?...8e2f982b4ab9b13

I just want to point out that Hellmuth lost to Annie Duke heads up one time... I mean granted, she was getting cards, but I lost some confidence in his heads-up ability at that point. Just my opinion.
