and after 3 days, he is risen!

If you are paying $20 for a haircut, I imagine people assume you did it yourself anyway.

Pocket change cost me my first and only black girlfriend.   It was in the middle of a roaring poker boom and I was flush in ways most men don't even bother dreaming of. Money, it was like dirt to me

Yeah, let's just ignore PMI and property taxes and insurance and cost of upkeep and the fact that I hope to not live in this state within the next two years.

Get a roommate. Idiot.

$500/mo. + half of utilities. Now your less than your apartment

LOL at buying a house for $170k. Zero chance I pay less than $400k when I buy (unless there's a major crash in the next 18 months). $450k is far more likely.

Canadian...

Glad that works again. I paid 400k (Canadian) for my latest place, and it's nothing special.

One of the reasons we moved out of CA in 2001 was the realization that we weren't going to be able to buy a house here anytime soon as they were all $300k plus even then. The house we are currently renting would probably cost $329k or so to buy and it's a 4/2 at about 1800 square feet. The house we bought in WA was $175k for the same 4bd, 2 ba and 1800 sq ft but on a lot almost twice the size. Tough to make any money in Spokane though.

Well I found a $5 bill in the parking lot last night so I can validate the rise in the market.

Anyone have hot weekend plans? I need to do a bunch of work so I'm likely in office all Sunday. Saturday I might pop over to the outlets, see what kind of deal I can find on sweaters for work. I'm a sweater guy, and there's no going back.

We're having a bunch of family over tomorrow for Halloween. My nephews live out in the country so they'll be able to trick or treat around our neighborhood. Going to make a big batch of chili and some zuppa tuscana soup for everybody. Not sure otherwise.
