don't know what your friend is talking about there are no casinos in nashville or tennessee for that mattermaybe DNA knows of some underground cardrooms
No casino's in TN. Nearest places are Metropolis, IL which is about 2 1/2 hours away from Nashville and Tunica, MS which is about 3 1/2 hours. As far as homegames, good luck finding one. The only ones I could find when while I was down there for 9 months were 10 dollar buy in's or free bar league's.

best part about Tennessee? There's no lottery, because it's morally wrong... but you can buy liquor, gasoline, and fireworks at the same counter.
you have no idea what you are talking about

i didnt think there was any either. he told me he was going to gamble there and i was like they dont have casinos in tenn. he said the friend he is visiting goes to a casino. so i guess he friend means the one 2 1/2 hours away. thanks again for the responses though. i guess i could of just looked it up if casinos where there for sure. but since i havent been to tenn in a long time like 15 years i just assumed the friend was right. great illustration of what assumptions do.

I'm Nash and I can tell you that there's a regular 1/2 near Belmont Univ. that you can find out about on homepokergames.com, long list but I aint looking it up again. I have also heard rumors bout some larger games in the city with 10-20 tables, but I don't have specifics. I wouldn't get too excited about the prospects, most of the games stay pretty quiet in their advertising so if you look in the obvious places you won't find them. Just go to Tunica, there's enough donkeys there for everyone.

nothing 'legal' here in nashville area, but definitely some home games if you ask the right people.tunica is where its at, louisville has riverboat gambling, and metropolis is another valid option someone else mentioned.cherokee is in northcarolina and about a 3 1/2 hour drive and theres no poker or table games there, just video and slots.

Didn't one of the bigger games just get busted off of West End about 2 months ago. I think i remeber reading in the paper. Anyways like the folks above said Tunica is the best option, but Louisville is closer and has one of the best card rooms around. Metropolis is a chitty card room, had like 4 tables cramped in a corner behind the slot machines. They usually have a 1-2NL a 2-5NL on weekends if enough are there to play and a 5/10 limit going, but as I said a chitty place. I know of a bigger game here in Nashville but not posting it in the forums. PM me and maybe we can met up and if you seem like good people, then I can bring you along.

The only good lotteries are the ones done Shirley Jackson style. Winning money is for pussies.
Oh, snap...Turd made it to 8th grade, at least! Made me laugh.

How far away is cherokee from nashville? I don't think its that far away.
Cherokee is probably a 4.5 hour drive. Metropolis is the closest place. vonteego-We got the lottery, so STFU until you actually know of what you speak.Violaman-I'm interested in this 1/2 game, send me a PM.

Damn we must work close to each other. I am right behind Centenial Park.....Well if you are ever intersted let me know. I usually come out quite a bit ahead over there. A lot of Rich Vandy Donks play there and it is pretty easy money
