No casino's in TN. Nearest places are Metropolis, IL which is about 2 1/2 hours away from Nashville and Tunica, MS which is about 3 1/2 hours. As far as homegames, good luck finding one. The only ones I could find when while I was down there for 9 months were 10 dollar buy in's or free bar league's.

over the weekend i was in tunica and at the last minute i decided to jump into the 35+15 saturday rebuy at the goldstrke. after a pretty crazy first hour, i ended up with 6k in chips and roughly $220 invested.. AK ran into AA, JJ vs. QQ.. the usual.. i end up going on a rush and get to the final table 3rd in chips with around 59k.. four people drop pretty quickly and then this hand happens.. i would like to know what others think.. i do have to throw in that i had been up for over 30 hours and may not have been thinking clearly.6 handed, blinds at 6000/12000.. i have 59k and the button

our company does not have any IT policy in place. my buddy who works here has downloaded PP and played twice, but his dad is the VP of operations, so that might be why he never got any heat. i'm not going to do it, just wanted some input. thanks guys.

i am bored out of my mind at work right now and wanted to get some hands in. the only thing i'm concerned about is if i download it, i might get caught. our network is very small and there is no IT admin that monitors it everyday. if i do get caught, i would get into some serious trouble. we just log in using xp's login. nothing like novell. we have a company wide server and i'm pretty sure they can track what websites are being viewed by each login. i haven't got into trouble yet by browsing, but i think downloading a poker client and playing might cross the line. any ideas on my cha

when i got my MIP at U of M, i knew i was screwed and just told them what they wanted to hear. they saw me throw the can and i wasn't going to make matters worse by lying. has anyone ever been to this place? me and two of my buddy's were going to go to tunica, but decided it we'd check out the harrahs in metropolis since it was only 2 1/2 hours from nashville. we got there and it was a joke. 4 tables.. two were 4/8 hold em and two were 2/5 NL. took 2 hours to get a seat. next time, i'll drive the extra 1 1/2 hours to tunica.
