Hi FCP people I need some help. I'm off to Vegas on the 16th March and am staying at the Luxor hotel. I wondered if anyone could give me some advice on poker rooms to visit and what games/limits they spread. I usally play 2-4 but I guess that may be a bit low for Vegas do they have 3-6 or is 5-10 the lowest? Thanks for your help.

You can play $2/$4 at Monte Carlo. They have high hand bonuses and the game is always soft.
Thanks Wax

walk down stairs at the Luxor and you'll get a suer soft 2/4 game. (but the rake will kill you, as in any lower limit game)

I am a LHE chump... I could not find any Limit tourneys on Allvegaspoker.com. Anyone know of any, or where I can find a list online?

If you go the Caesar's Palace website and download their poker room's tourney schedule you'll see that they have some well structured limit tournaments.

as I recall (did I ever tell you about the awesome night I had at the Bellagio at 4/8 HE) the Rio's 3/6 killed me, Mandelay Bay had 2/4 Kill Pot and 2/4 NL. the whole time I was there I couldn't find an Omaha or Stud game going anywhere, most dealers said they hadn't dealt those games out in months. Must just be February.gl.

This is hearsay from friends who live in Vegas, so take it as second hand information. While the Orleanes may indeed have lower limits, its very much a "locals" casino, and the competition is much stiffer there than in most poker rooms...Ray

I just got back from there last week. I think Caesars has 3/6 limit. No matter what, it's almost mandatory that you go there just to check out the poker room. Take an extra $20 and get a 10 minute massage while you play.
