So now, some donkey starts talking shit that wasn't in the hand, wasn't even at the table when the hand started, only got moved there when we went to final. Starts calling me a phag and shit, and this and that. So I take some jabs back at him, shut him up for a while. Low and behold, him and I HU. So he says something, and I ask him what the fuck his problem is, if he's bored in his hick ass town (no pun intended AlIn, his avatar on Stars was a deer head, that screams hick to me), so then he tells me to calm down. I let the play speak from there. Knocked him down to several hundred chips with A 10, and then he gets put all in on the SB, he shows 10 2, I show 10 3. I turn a boat, he rivers his smaller, weaker, losing boat and giving me the victory, the sweet sweet victory. That's what he gets for talkin shit. That GM has got to be getting lit up right now on every sport station in town. To do otherwise would be beyond irresponsible. I have no voice if I don't. And call it a control issue if you want (although you really could have been a little more tactful if that's the point you wanted to make) but I need a voice.And for Norm, I understand what you're saying but just bowing out and refusing to take part is not an option. That may work for you but that doesn't work in our relationship. It doesn't work for me. It doesn't fit how we live. The main reason the Flyers traded him was because he could/would not commit to a new deal of any length because of his ankle issues. As much as I wanted him to come back next year, I don't think he would be a great fit anymore. This team found an idenity to itself once the trade happened and while they would certainly be a better team with him, long term I don't think it would be wise. There is also a chance he retires and signs with no one or goes back to Sweden.As for the next round, I think if Detroit is going to advance it falls on Hasek. I think San Jose is just a bit too deep for Detroit to match up real well defensivly. I think San Jose wins in 6 or 7.I'm gonna drink the Kool-Aid on the other series. Anaheim loses the first game due to the layoff and then win the series in no more then 6 games. Vancouver I think will just be too worn down and Anaheim is just too good.Both Buffalo and New York have been sitting around for a while and I think this is actually going to be a series where in Buffalo we are gonna see top line vs top line. I think if that is the case, Jagr gets shut down in those games and as long as the Sabres stay out of the box they should win this one. Look for them to be down after 3 games though I think Buffalo wins in 6I think Ottawa might have their act together finally, but I just think you can never bet against the New Jersey Devils and Martin Brodeur in the playoffs. I think the fact that New Jersey hasn't had too much time off is good for them.
