theredpill99 0
Has anyone given up their real life for their cyber life ? I used to actually go places and I used to talk to people. I used to have some friends that I could talk to person to person. Now my life is on the computer. I'm not kidding. I don't answer phone calls or answer mail anymore. I do open the bills that I have to pay but if it isn't a bill then it doesn't get opened. The reason is that my cyber life is more entertaining than my real life was. Some of my last visits at my old friends house, left me looking around and just really bored. I mean, I'm on my computer and opening Threads and making posts and if someone said something happened on another website, I can be there in 3 seconds. In my real life, at my friends' house, they would just look at each other or watch boring TV like Saturday night live which was funny back in the 80's and early 90's but man it's boring now. My cyber life just couldn't compare to my real life. I mean maybe if I was getting laid by a hot chick, I wouldn't have gotten sucked in like I have but that wasn't happening. Anyone else have a similar story ? My friends don't call me anymore, though. They gave up after a while since I never answered the phone or called them back. I never did feel really guilty about it. I just didn't give a shit.

I'd also recommend smoking. It doesn't matter what, just inhale smoke of some kind.

ChristenC. 0
The reason your cyberlife is so enjoyable is because it is a mix of a huge amount of fantasy and little reality. If something online becomes unpleasant you can simply click out of it and pursue another click. This stimulates your ego and imagination. It is not possible to click out of real life situations so easily. I do have to ask though, how long have you been engulfed in a cyberlife? If under 2 years you will peak soon and see that it really is not a life. Anything truly meaningful cannot be clicked on and off at a whim.

Rokuban 0
Has anyone given up their real life for their cyber life ?I knew one. He was a kid leading some movie channels on irc servers. He spent a lot of time on it and was very serious about it. He was also telling us about his life, his girlfriend, the fact she got once pregnant, what he liked doing, what movies or games he went to see, etc etc. He once let us know live of a dispute he was having with his girlfriend who locked herself in the bathroom. But the weird thing is that he was always online, except for some times we would not see him for several days. And one day, he confessed that he had a serious lung condition and had been bedridden for life. Everything he told us was an invented cyber life & personality. Nothing was true (except the fact he liked beer and getting wasted. That was true). He was living through the Internet. When he was disappearing for several days, that just meant he developped an infection and was treated in an hospital. He pursued his activities online and then, one day, he died.If you live a cyber life instead of a real one for any other reason than that, then you are sick and need serious help. like, now. The good news would be that you're just addicted to the Net or to poker, and there are specialists on that, now.
