I thought this would be an interesting topic of discussion, though I am not sure it belongs in this particular forum.(oh well). My question for Daniel and everyone else is:Do you vote Republican or Democrat? Do you support Bush? Which party appeals more to gambling and casinos?I realize that people can get vry fired up about this topic, but I hope we can have a civil discussion, and remember to have fun!

Wow! Even on such a touchy subject his reply exudes class! I am a big time supporter of DUBYA and love the fact that DN can have a different point of view and not sling mud. I just earned my first POY points in a tourney victory at Commerce on Tuesday and will meet DN on the felt one day soon. Hopefully, not too soon I still need a few more battle scars and hard earned lessons before I can even think of competing with him!Respectfully,Rufino by the way its my first post after following FCP for over 7 months so go easy on me...

The sad part is that a person who gets into polictics to make a change for good, typically ends up getting caught in the "political game" and unable to make change for the better. We have so many career politicians who have lost touch with reality and the common people.

I don't vote, but I find that I lean towards the Democratic side of things while still proclaiming myself "middle of the road".

I hate political parties and I wish an ape would of ran for president so I could of voted for him, because Kerry and Bush are both morons.

I wanted to vote Bush out of office, but then they put Kerry up against him. There's no way I could vote for Kerry and sleep well at night. So I didn't vote.Everybody says "your vote is your voice." To which I say, "My voice is the sound of stunned silence."

I try to vote for the best candidate. In my humble opinion, George W. wasn't the best candidate and personally, I couldn't think of a candidate I wouldn't think could do a better job. Not a Bush fan...
DN, do you have dual citizenship? I was under the impression that you had to be a citizen, not just a resident in order to vote...

You know being in the military, the republicans have always gave us the money and the support to defend this the greatest country/continent in the world. the rep's have historically given us the largest pay raises of any administration and given us the will and the means to protect the people of the USA and its allies. I vote republican because it's my job on the line and my pay that's effected.

I believe that nothing can be decided on by a party. You may be one party but the person from the other party is the better man for the job. Although if you want to get things straightened out in this country maybe we should put a woman in charge. I mean seeing as men always end up mucking things up and all.

I am a Republican and serve on the Republican Executive Commitee in the county I live in. Politics is about ideas and all the democrats ideas are boo hoo and why the the other guys shouldn't be in office. They NEVER give you a reason to vote FOR them !!!! Their ideas are attack the other guys and and that's it. Tax and spend that's their way. Ask any European/Canadian how much they enjoy being more overtaxed to death over there by the leftists they vote in. Tax is like the rake, you want the lowest rake available don't you ????

Thats because politicians are mostly men, now if we women were to take over things would be a sight better. Men are so eager to do things right that in their hurry they screw things up royaly.

I think the parties should be disbanded... too much corruption and they aren't really needed in this day and age..let the candidates stand on their own legs, with their own thoughts, and issues...let the public choose the best person for the job...voting along party lines makes no sense to me...CCM - AcesFull333

being a infantryman in the national guard, i've supported bush on a lot of things, like finally shooting back when an embassy gets bombed or Iraq shooting at our planes in the no-fly-zone on a daily basis, all through the 90's it really disgusted me that people would bomb us and we never took the fight to them. I can't say I agree with everything my commander in cheif does, but it least he is taking a stand for us. I would have to say that I am more right winged that left, but I do agree that the "party" system is majorly flawed.

I am right at this moment viewing a computer from an anarchist and very leftist Hall, you should know that they allow no government at all and to claim any right wing idea you would be evicted. They are very strong here and can tackle all the problems facing desenters; that is very far from a mild no party stand or some fool army pride, the false statements of the above military would maybe ban this site and hack it, but I am a noble and gracious soul who will allow your freedom to speak. Even when thinking that the military budget is for protection and that Iraqu was or is anything but pure robbery and love of killing, you are safe with me for now but I must warn you those days are numbered.
