FREDDIE MERCURY 0
He said on FT tonight that DN was too chicken to play him heads up for 500k. Is this guy any good?

Tritz 0
Or was he the guy that helped develope Microsoft Word? I think that was him....nevermind, he's loaded.

I think that was him....nevermind, he's loaded.I actually think that he was the person who created the program, that you used to find out the flop cards for pokerstars. So obviously...this is where he has made his money. He's definently loaded.
KingAustin 0
He said on FT tonight that DN was too chicken to play him heads up for 500k. Is this guy any good?LMAO! DN will play David Oppenheim, Mimi Tran, Joe Cassidy, Barry Greenstein, etc., but be afraid of Richard Brodie. Oh man, too funny. The guy is probably just being a douche bag and taking what DN said out of context (that is if they have even talked about it). DN probably said something like "not now, but later when I have time" and Brodie's ego sky rocketed.

jonnyutah 0
He said on FT tonight that DN was too chicken to play him heads up for 500k. Is this guy any good? The guy thinks he is great, however DN would probably clear his schedule for the chance to play this clown HU. I believe he invented ms word and was a bill gates lackey for years. Evidently, he now fancies himself a NL holdem tournament specialist and soon to be poker great. The money he made with microsoft allows this donk... er, gentleman financial freedom. He currently writes a poker blog that describes his limitations at NL holdem.
garamond10pt 0
I'm pretty sure it was just a joke. Brodie doesn't harbor any illusions of being a top-tier poker player.

spikymarv99 0
Brodie, otherwise known as Quiet Lion, is one of the richest men in America. He is not on Bill Gates or Paul Allen's level, but he was basically employee #3 at Microsoft is worth over 300 million. If he played Daniel hu for 500,000 it would be like us playing for 50 cents heads up... it is irrelevant to him. If Daniel does not want to play him, that is prob why. By the way, the guy can play.... watch him at FTP. He regularly wipes the floor with Layne Flack and J Dag at the 200-400 table. But I think DN would thrash him.

He was playing 15/30 and just now started playing 30/60. He plays 10/20NL sometimes too. And btw nobody wipes the floor w/ Jdags at FT. Nobody.

No. Every player loses to fish occassionally, but Dags routinely destroys this game and is considered one of the best lhe players in the world. He is also quickly becoming one of the best NL cash game players also. To say that a guy who has played in the game once or twice wipes the floor w/ Dags is laughable. Guest
Brodie actually said this:"I prefer to play bad players, not better players"in response to playing DN for 500k. Thats what he said when I was watching him.
Arkanoid 0
Not like Rich to openly bash someone on FTP. There must be some history there.Regarding JDags, he is probably the most consistent winner on the site. I play the 25/50 there and he's as tough as nails shorthanded or HU.
