Poor Daniel,First off, he's losing his shirt at the WSOP and the Greenstein games thus far, and now some nobody is giving him shit at the no-limit shoot out:2005-06-17 12:52:00 Title: Some Notes From the Early Going Log: There is no shortage of action here in the early going. Some big names have already been sent to the rail, including yesterday's $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em Champion T.J. Cloutier, Sammy Farha, and Mimi Tran. There is quite a feud brewing between Daniel Negreanu and an unknown player in Seat 2 at his table. Shortly after arriving at the table, Negreanu asked his unknown opponent, nicely, to square the table. The unknown decided to take a combative stance, and immediately went to work needling Negreanu. Some bits of conversation for your enjoyment: After Negreanu bluffed the unknown out of the first pot they played together: Negreanu: "That's 75 (in chips) we're coming for the rest." Unknown: "I got a surprise for you." After the unknown continued to needle Negreanu, and Negreanu dragged another pot: Negreanu: "You're messing with the wrong guy, bro. I promise." Unknown: "You just have luck on your side. Wait until I take that away from you."

poor daniel? some idiot is givin him lip, and daniel is handling it just fine. don't think he needs anyone to feel sorry for him. the guy is just tryin to rile him up and i don't see it working on DN. and as long as he's rakin the pots as the guy is talkin, it doesn't matter at all what the clown is sayin.

I will expose my ignorance. what does square the table mean?
Just so you don't feel so bad, I was wondering the same thing.
I do in fact feel better knowing that I'm not alone on that one.

Means to move the seats squarely around the table - ie. the 5 and 6 seat should have the middle of the table between them. So basically, Daniel was asking the guy to shift his seat over...probably just a few inches. LOL.

it's just what he needs to get himself out of this funk, the pleasure of busting some hometown chump who thinks he's great
psssssst -- it's in Vegas -- Negreanu is, at this point, a townie, too.

I didn't mean townie, I was talking about the hometown champs (chumps) that make their way to LV every year for the WSOP, I'm assuming this guy is one of them.
