hey CorvairShaggy you ever try lithium? I'm kind of afraid of trying it. Afraid of getting hooked. Turning into a spineless, emotionless, pussy robot... I'd rather be crazy.

No, but I have a good friend that was a OC then heroin addict for 5 years. She has been clean for over 2 years now. She had alot of mental issues in HS. She was prescribed Seroquel for the Bi-polar, and suboxone for the opiate withdrawal and went to therapy/groups. She had been in and out of rehabs since HS, so it really was a mental "I really want to change my life at 23 years old" that was her biggest help. Lithium did nothing for her, but Seroquel helps her sleep at night, and she is still on it and the Suboxone today. Only problem with Seroquel is the weight gained. She gained about 80 lbs in a year. Probably had some do do with coming off drugs for 5 years as well. Functions just fine during the day, but the Seroquel will knock you out at night, kinda like Ambien.

No the #1 side effect to Seroquel and most anti psychotic's are weight gain, Lithium is the #1 mood stabilizer we use, but there are other mood stabilizers such as Tegretol, Epival, Topamax, etc, most of the anticonvulsive's we use as mood stabilizers. The best thing Arsenic can do is see a Mood specialist and take the meds as prescribed, Drug use will only screw up the Mood disorder even more. In Toronto there are lots of places to get help, http://www.camh.net/About_CAMH/Guide_to_CA...ers_clinic.htmlhttp://www.uhn.ca/clinics_&_services/clinics/mdpu.aspbtw, I am a psych nurse and worked on a Mood Disorder Unit for over 10 yrs before I moved to Forensic's

I know its a stupid question. But I am broke and chilling in on a Saturday. The truth really hurts me. All together, on Full Tilt, PokerStars, and PartyPoker. I've lost close to $15,000...I am Jacks pathetic self......
I made about 87000 at my job last year, and cant figure out where the hell it went. So I guess we are in a similiar situation

I think it's interesting how few people actually answered the question. I'm probably down 10k in 6 years or so. (Can I get a tax refund?)
I really don't think it's interesting. I mean I rarely, if ever, speak to my best friends about specific dollar amounts in life. It's just poor form, unless a very specific type of conversation comes up. Just doesn't really seem like a forum board conversation point, in what I'm guessing is many people's opinions.

I've probably deposited about 800-1000 on line. Have 200+, so a loss of about 700ish.

Most people that spend a considerable amount of time on poker forums eventually get better and become winners. So most of the regulars here would be close to break even or slight winners from poker.

Damn you guys run bad... ..and I thought I was was going through a rough stretch of ... my entire poker career. I blame it on luck though -- after all, I have never run above EV.Merby.jpg

It was a Rhetorical question by the way. I just wanted to tell the world of my struggles. Broke as a joke, riding the bus like a sucker. And I could be cruising in a nice Cadillac if I never gambled a single day of my life. My nerves would be a hell of a lot better too. Just look at Daniel Negreanu, he's a millionaire but twitches more than a man who just got Electro Shock Therapy to cure his madness. Money don't buy composure...BonD James BOnd. LOL
