hartman72 0
This. I'm not 3-betting if I don't what stacks in right now. 3-bet for value/folding is generally bad anytime but preflop.I play so bad. I mucked 10 9 and villain showed me 9 7 and said "I had you"
meservery 0
^^ for sure @KK on 432tt, I wouldn't bet big. I think $5-$7 is goot, sets up ez half pot turn shove and it gives him the illusion of weakness/fold equity.Don't be scurred of flush draws 100bb deep in 4b pot with a kang and another kang.I shoved on both. And these hands happened within 5 minutes of each other at the beginning of my session. And after both hands, I immediatly thought that I played them terribly. On the first hand I 3x from UTG and get flatted by CO and Button. BB makes it 3.75. So pot is now 6.1 and I have 24.25 left. Now I start looking at it like if I raise a normal amount, its over 1/3 of my stack and actually nearly half my stack. For some reason I have always played in such a way that if you are putting in between 1/3 and 1/2 of your stack with a re-raise you might as well shove. I might have picked this up from when I played a lot of low buy-in MTTs back in 2006... Another thing that feels awkward is if I do make the raise to between the 10-12 mark, the BB should know that I am never folding. so if i assume he is somewhat competent, what does he do against a raise that puts in nearly half my stack? Will he fold JJ, QQ, AK? That would blow. How about instead of 10-12, if I just click it back and minbet? On the second hand, the post flop one, I think this is another leak I have. The pot is 14, so I think that since I only have a little more than pot size bet left I might as well shove. Since a standard CB would pot committ me anyway. This may be another MTT thinig i started doing 5 years ago. And after that bet villain would auto-know that i am again never folding. By the way, I definetly like the small bet line. Maybe even smaller like 3? Then turn could be 6. River could be the rest. Or what about just auto-checking twice and hope that he bluffs or vaule bets thinly by the turn? trystero 0
Villian is usually pretty tight, 23/18/7 3bet Villian lost 2ai's in 2 orbits, I've 3bet 3 hands in a row while I was IP with him. he typed out, "**** off dickhead" in the chat as well. KingJames 11
Bet $5-7 and evalBased on aggression factors of the villains we can have a tough spot if we get a lot of action on this board.UTGs flatting range is almost always a pocket pairs and he doesn't open a lot of suited connectors from utg as an 18/13 and he prob doesn't call with like AQ KQ type hands. If you get a lot of action from utg, its bc I'm wrong and he does have AQ and 77 makes up the majority of his value range, imo.

SuperJon 175
Curious as to what you guys think about villain's line here.I think he's a reg, plays like 20/15. He has to realize that once I c/r the turn he probably doesn't have any FE unless I'm completely FOS.Do you shove the turn like he did, or take a different line? KingJames 11
Turn has to be a fold for villain vs your sizing. If he had the nut draw, it makes it a bit closer especially in position. But Q-high gotta hit the muck. Also, you're not helping the case that small pocket pairs are unprofitable from the blinds vs regs button steals when they spew like that
SuperJon 175
Also, you're not helping the case that small pocket pairs are unprofitable from the blinds vs regs button steals when they spew like that lol. Normally I'd 3bet there, just went with the flat this time to tarp, ya know.I also like to c/c the flop instead of c/r against most regs in these spots, not 100%, but a fair amount of the time. I really think it helps with balancing our range, especially when we have a hand we want to pot control with and get to a cheap showdown.
