Yeah he was a good guy and went on a sick run in mtt's for a while - he actually staked me for a couple tourneys as well before he went on a bad run. Tried to help him out and get him back on his feet, but I guess it wasn't meant to happen.I'm not here to trash the guy and no need to call him a douche LJB. Maybe he just lost the money and cut poker out of his life, who knows. It's not the matter of the $500, it's the part that he just disappeared without a word that's disappointing.

Apologies. I didn't know the guy, but remembered him from many tourney threads. You are obviously giving him the benefit of the doubt, so credit to you for that.That said, I agree with Bud. If you're having money problems and owe people, and especially people you have spent time with - even online, you should man up and face responsibilty, not just drop off the face of the earth.

Well, the elephant in the room of forums like this, is gambling addiction. Most of these debts aren't by people who set out to scam people, with a plan of ripping people off.. but instead were just addicted to gambling and in a really bad mental place.

Okay Ryland and Jayson Weber are back on the list, per PMs by Lurbz and BidD. Although if you guys want to do the whole running count thing, I'm going to need a more specific ballpark figure about how much Jayson Weber rolled the forum for.Also was Jasyon Weber his username or was it JWeb?

If we're going to run a tote board, add "Elo and Ag" to the list in the amount of $500.He took a stake from me and another guy and played for maybe a month or so, then disappeared, stopped posting on the forum, answering emails, logging on to aim, etc.

Do we need more verification on this or is it okay to put this guy up? I've never heard of him but if there's a general consensus in the thread that he's a scammer I have no problem adding him to the list.

That's just it though. If a guy is such a scumbag that he's willing to ruin his reputation on the forum over $5 then he deserves to be on the list.

I don't think we have a running count on Jweb, he ****ed numerous people on the forum, not all of whom came forward I'm sure, and I don't think people knew exactly how much they were owed, due to the nature of it being rake back. How much more verification do you need? I said I was as surprised as anyone at how the whole thing went down. It's too bad he doesn't come around anymore, he was a good guy. Look at his profile and when he was last on the forum (and also when I posted ON his profile asking if anyone knew him or had a way to get a hold of him). Wish he'd email or post even just to let us know he's ok - I've gotten beyond caring about the money.

I think the only person that appreciates JWebb is Suited_Up because he basically got all of JWeb's potential rakeback clients.loooooool

yes and no. Suited up did indeed step up, but not for like a year and a half later. 2005-6 were absolutely huge years in the boom, and j-webb was poised to reap huge benefits, but he was a gimp instead.

I think I was even a J web rakeback member.But yeah... I probably had the rakeback sometime sooner, but not on a large scale until more recently.

Yeah I'm not sure what language you're speaking here, but I think we have a similar sentiment. I don't want to drag his name through the mud, I've said a few times he was a good dude, we shared a few laughs together. I talked to the other guy involved tonight too and we both agree, I'd just like to hear that he's ok. The money isn't a concern.

Weird. This is the type of sentiment I have with Zsta even though he ripped off multiple people at FCP. I should have some kind of resentment or bitterness towards him but for some reason I can't seem to define, I'm simply not. I don't care about the money but I hope he's made better decisions in his life. Kids.........whatcha gonna do.
