Sushiman 0
I was over at AC this weekend and a woman got caught cheating at 1-5 stud. She had an ace hidden under her drink napkin and was switching it into her hole cards. An old dude caught her and sure enough they escorted her out. Would they just bann her from the place? Would she be banned from other casinos as well? Do they not care cause it's low limit anyway?
JimD82 0
oh they definitely care. Rumors of cheating could hurt a place's business. Plus, if she is capable of cheating at poker, she could easily try to cheat a house game. I think casinos share their cheater databases and I also believe cheaters are prosecuted to the full extent possible.

Sushiman 0
Did you ever see Casino?Nope. I doubt that they would rough up cheaters at the low limit games but if someone was trying to pull this stunt at the high limit would they come into bodily harm?
DKE_XP120 0
I heard they eat you.... Might just be a rumor... but wow, something to think about.Actually, I think I read it someplace, it MUST be true

'Casino' is based on a time when the mob had a tremndous degree of power and influence in Vegas. Most casinos are owned by corporations now and are closely regulated by gaming commissions. The law protects them and they follow the law in turn.

CodyHartman 0
I would think that she would be banned from the casino, then they could bring up charges against her. I am sure that there would be some kind of fine she would have to apy too.I would like to know what happened at the table when it occured? Did any of the other players bring up the issue of $$, I know if I lkost a pot with a good hand to her trips or boat I'd be pissed if it was a pot w/ any meat to it.Let us know the details m8. Thanks,Cody
Randy Reed 0
I was there, they took her out back and beat her with her walker, then busted her kneecaps. There is a commision and police thatdo nothing but go after cheaters. It's serious business there and she was probably prosecuted. And yes, she goes on file and her pic is put into a database shared by most casinos. If she walks in the door, they'll know. It's computer generated and scans everyone.
penne 0
ususally the cheater is given a choice..keep the money and lose a limb or give the money back, take a beating and never come back. Seriously though, they are charged by police and banned from the casino upon release.
dakielbasa 0
they get blacklisted....most casinos share information with each other on cheaters You cheat u get banned from the casino... and then your on the blacklist. If another casino sees you, they will probably "ask you to leaeve"

Governator 54
I don't get why anyone believes they can get away with cheating at a casino, especially card swapping lol... eventually it'll catch up on them. The only thing I'm against in Casino's is calling card counters in blackjack "cheaters". I personally believe that's just using mathematics to beat the game & on top of that there is still luck involved. There is no hidden cards or devices just plain on mind over matter. I think it's ridiculous that a casino who has the advantage in every game they host can deny you the right to play when you are smart enough to read into a 6 deck shoe. And with no evidence of this fact they can simply deny you the right to play. It's almost funny in it's irony!
JaysonWeber 0
If anyone has ever read "Bringing down the house" About the MIT students who Took Vegas for Millions it talks about when they got heat there way. The Casino's work together and actually have private police as was mentioned. It's a serious business and some of the MIT students got threatened, I remember reading about one who got roughed up bad in the Bathroom while taking a break.Don't do it.. it's -EV
711Buddha 0
When the kid got roughed up, he was in another country not the US. No casino is going to risk its license to give you a beating. Even if they did, would you take a beating for $1 million? Its not much of a deterent. No, something different will happen here, she'll be photographed, turned over to gaming authorities and changed. With video evidence and testimony of dealers and floorpeople a conviction is pretty certain. She won't be blacklisted unless this is routine for her, see http://www.securityinfowatch.com/article/a...siteSection=

He was drinking a little and after he got up a good bit the next beer he ordered tasted a little funny. 10 minutes later he was violently ill, so apparantly casino's don't like you to win money even if you're not cheating.
