Jam-Fly 8
fail...but yea "that guy" being david williams owes ivey 360k, meaning ivey dropped 3.6 million on craps last year, however, david alludes to the fact that ivey won something like 2-3 million on craps recently in one session, pretty sick, i can't even guess on his networth, but do you guys think he has more money or less money than we would think?I wouldn't say he has a MASSIVE amount of money. Like, I think he's pretty damn comfortable, and can afford the lifestyle he has become accustomed to, but like, he's not a billionaire or anything imo. I'd say less than $100mill. I would have said like $20mil 3 months ago, but after seeing some of the crazy stuff recently, I'd have to imagine his net worth would be higher than that. I'd imagine his bank a/c is about $50m, plus his interest in FullTilt and other such companies/business interests. But obv that's just specualtion, no one really has any clue. David Williams said something about having ten percent of Ivey when he's with him and then said "how many times do I hear when I'm not around that you had a three/four million dollar day" That's when Ivey told him to shut up because there was a camera down. Vtlaxer09 4
LOOOOOOOOOOL at saying ivey is worth "10 mil"LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLseriously...????????if he could care less about losing 1 mil playing craps IN ONE SESSION! then he's worth at least several hundred million. Jariso13 1
LOOOOOOOOOOL at saying ivey is worth "10 mil"LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLseriously...????????if he could care less about losing 1 mil playing craps IN ONE SESSION! then he's worth at least several hundred million.Being worth a ton of money and having liquid assets are two completely different things. I mean his stake in FT has to be worth way over 10 mil right there. But, I would be surprised if his actual br is more than 20-25 million. After reading "The Professor, the Banker, and the Suicide King" (which took place mostly right before the poker boom) I was surprised how small these players BRs actually are. It seems that they play much higher now but at the time they were all struggling to come up with over a million dollars.
James D 0
he's worth at least several hundred million. At least? So, say several is 4-5...you're saying he could be pushing $1 billion?
thebottomline 0
you guys never know, he could just be freerolling from all the money he makes from FT or something.Yeah, I'm not sure what topic it was in, but I'm sure I read someone quoting Matusow saying if he was a member of Team Full Tilt from the start (as I think Ivey is?) that he'd be worth a ridiculously high figure. silkyjonson 1
UMMM just because the guy gambles high enough to lose 1million in a day does'nt mean he has to be properly rolled to take that hit in stride, his willingness to gamble sky high is the reason he has made it to the top and not because he has stellar BR management. I don't think he is worth "a couple hundred million". I would guess he has about 35 Million in his BR plus other money tied up, lets not forget also that he is widely known as the best player in the world so should be able to get loans with relative ease.Honestly though its painfully obvious that DW is on Ivey's nuts, I mean why else would you take 10% of someone in craps?? I think hes setting Ivey up to get close to his feet.
