aadams_22 3
Whoa I just realized a kid I went to high school with and mysteriously disappeared after freshman year and was very good at basketball now plays for Arkansas.I had a classmate that received a full ride basketball scholarship to Northwestern. He wasn't getting enough playing time his FRESHMAN YEAR, and made the comment that he could play anywhere in the Big 10. He ended up at Indiana State...lol.

What the hell, this kid was sitting next to me in Biology freshman year of high school.

gkunit20 1
Group called "Ubergroove" (there's an umlat in there somewhere" does a killer remake of little wing you'll want to hear.. And for a strip club DJ, Alabama's cover of the Carpenter's "Touch me when we're Dancing" is pure comedy gold. Not fully into that choice for Chicago, I'd probably go full soundtrack with Cetera's "Glory of Love", or for the better song, hit up Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes" for the full 80's movie soundtrack experience. For Pearl Jam, Daughter is a great choice, but I'd be remiss to not include "Release", "Corduroy", "Elderly Women Behind the Counter in a Small Town", or "Garden" as a better choice."Moon Dance" > "Brown Eyed Girl"If you want random punk cover and dislike B.E.G., go for Pennywise's "Stand By Me", which always makes me chuckle. If you are going U2, stick with "With or Without You", although "Where the Streets Have no Name" has some sort of "Eye of the Tiger" effect on me for pumping me up, for some odd reason.Johnny Nash I love, I'd add "Stir It Up" to juice up your list a bit.Springsteen isn't complete without "Brilliant Disguise" or "Secret Garden" for good mood music...Zepplin i'd toss "Misty Mountain Hop" in there, but there's a great bluegrass group that covers Stairway with TINY Freakin' TIM doing the Plant vocals.. It's a rare find of Kazaa, but well worth the struggle if you manage to succeed..Beatles and Dylan: Yeah, pick anything.. You can fill Ipod's with either, truthfully.. It's a no lose situation.Wow. Fantastic suggestions. I'll have to look into those songs considering I don't know if I have most of those. I think "Moon Dance" though, while a better song than "Brown Eyed Girl" is more of a Summer song (just the whole idea behind it). And while I will be adding those songs, I'm not sure if they'll make it into the playlist. I'll have to pass judgement. I kinda like the Bob Marley version of "Stir It Up" though. I also think for Zeppelin, Misty Mountain is a better winter song. Chicago is one of my favorite songs, and I think the tune is a very Springy song (especially with the "All things grow").And yeah, Dylan is my god. I would marry him if I could.Great suggestions though. Thanks a bunch. I'm gonna have to find all of these somehow.I'm still looking for "A Beautiful Day" by U2. If anyone wants to sendspace it here or send it to me over IM, I'd greatly appreciate it.

If he was on scholarship to NU, then trust me, he couldn't get on the bench of any team on the big ten, much less play for them. NU should be in the Missouri Valley, not the Big Ten. He should have been happy with the education he was getting. Now he's at a 3rd rate state school, owned.

The kid was smart and had a top notch education right in front of him and he followed the ball instead. He is very smart, but definitely lacked common sense.

Cappy37 0
We won a Super Bowl with our defence. Not with Jim McMahon. There's no way we can do that again.Seriously, when our starting quarterback choice is between Grossman, Griese and Orton, it's no wonder our Recievers want elsewhere. We also need a new Runningback. Yeah, I'm shocked everyone left the need for "Walter Payton" out of the bears' superbowl equation.... Their defense + running game steamrolled the league.Pizza Hut ftwDomino's sucksLittle Caesars only redeeming quality is that it's cheapI would like to point out that, 5 years ago, all 3 of these places served what could actually be described at "Pizza".. now they are just fast-food shells of their former glory...So THIS is where the party is at.'Bout time you showed up. This thread is bordering on pornographic, so its got that going for it, which is nice.Trying to catch up on all that prompted this thread's creation. I must say, i have to agree with Hang, Hideout had become, well, childish and boring.
